Participants Needed for Research Study
I am currently recruiting participants for a university research study investigating whether vitamin D supplementation has any effect on memory and cognitive performance.
Vitamin D deficiency is relatively common in the UK, particularly during the winter months, when sunlight exposure is limited . This study aims to explore whether improving vitamin D intake can lead to measurable changes in working memory over a short period.
Who can take part:
• Aged 35 to 55 years
• Living in Ayrshire
What’s involved:
• Two in-person sessions (approximately 15 minutes each)
• A simple computer-based memory test
• Daily supplement (vitamin D or placebo) for 4 weeks
• No blood tests involved
All data will be handled confidentially, and the study has been designed in line with university ethical standards.
Location:
