Research Participants Wanted

I am recruiting adults aged 35 to 55 living in North Ayrshire for my Queen Margaret University Honours research study on vitamin D and cognitive function.

The study involves:
• Two 1 hour sessions, 4 weeks apart
• Short computer based memory tasks
• Daily vitamin D₃ supplement or placebo for 4 weeks

Welcome Sam – Our New Therapist

We’re pleased to welcome Sam to the team. Sam has spent the past few months shadowing behind the scenes and is now building his private client base under close mentorship.

He holds a HND in Sports Therapy and HNC in Sports Coaching and Fitness, both completed at City of Glasgow College. Sam also works with KA Leisure and the Active Lifestyle Team, providing health checks and fitness support across the community. He serves as Sports Therapist at St. Cadoc’s Juniors, supporting athletes pitch-side at a competitive level.

With over 15 years of experience in karate, Sam competed at the 2018 World Championships, winning bronze in team fighting and was named Fighter of the Year for two consecutive seasons. He’s also played for local football clubs in Ayrshire.

Sam is now accepting bookings from Friday 9th January, working exclusively with active clients – gym-goers, athletes, and those engaged in regular training.
