Meet the team- Susan, Memorial Consultant

We are pleased to share that Susan joined the team at Holmsford Bridge Crematorium in January this year and has already become a valued member of our team.

Since joining us, Susan has worked to enhance our memorial room, creating a welcoming and comfortable space where families can meet with us and reflect on their loved ones. Supporting families remains at the heart of everything she does.

Susan brings dedication and compassion to her role, ensuring that every family she supports receives the highest level of care, understanding and respect during what can be a very difficult time.

Speaking about her role at the crematorium, Susan says:

“I feel very honoured to support families as they navigate their grief. When families enter the memorial room, I hope they feel welcomed, respected and truly listened to.

Choosing a memorial or arranging a final resting place for a loved one is never easy, so I aim to help each family create something meaningful and personal that reflects both them and their loved one.

I’m looking forward to welcoming families into our new customer area, which will showcase the memorial options available, and to our memorial services where we come together to remember and celebrate those we have lost.

Most importantly, I am grateful to the families I have met so far, to my Business Leader Paul for his support and guidance, and to the whole team for their encouragement as I settle into my role.

My door is always open if anyone visiting the crematorium needs help or support.”

On our way home from a very engaging and informative training day!

Many thanks to Giles and his fabulous team at East Riding Crematorium for hosting and to our senior leaders for supporting us to support our families!

Our memorials team will be out of the office from lunchtime tomorrow and will return to site on Thursday morning!

We will still be contactable via email and appointments have been opened for Saturday to accommodate any families requiring one.

Join with us to celebrate all mothers and mother figures no longer with us this Mother’s Day in our Wave of Love.

To participate simply comment the name of your loved one on this post by Saturday 28th February.

We will create a tile with your loved one’s name to be included in our video montage and this will be uploaded along with images of the individual tiles which you can share with family & friends.
