Sally, one of our case managers at StanleySmith, was pleased to attend the United Kingdom Acquired Brain Injury Forum (UKABIF) event at Enable Law yesterday.

Sally shared that it was incredibly valuable to hear about the ongoing work within the National Clinic Enquiry (NCE), with Kate Tantum delivering a passionate and insightful talk. She highlighted patients' rights to rehabilitation and explored how we can drive national action to better support individuals leaving ICU.

Sally also heard from Alyson Norman, who shared the inspiring work of her charity, Anchor Point, which is dedicated to improving the lives of families affected by acquired brain injury.

The event concluded with a great opportunity to connect with others in the field, sharing updates on local charities and services and strengthening professional networks.

Emma joins us with a wealth of experience in caring for people who have suffered catastrophic injury, both as a nurse and as a case manager. Karen Walker, a Solicitor at Wolferstans, is fundraising for ahead of running the London Marathon in April. Headway Plymouth are a local non-profit charity dedicated to supporting individuals, families and carers affected by acquired brain injury.

Jen is an Occupational Therapist, specialising in equipment and housing adaptations for her clients. Jen is also very experienced in coordinating large multi-disciplinary teams and has worked with clients with acquired brain injuries, complex neurological conditions and orthopaedic conditions.
