FLU JABS are rapidly approaching!!

We're starting in October this year due to new guidance from the JVCI.

Current expert opinion is that more people will have maximal protection if vaccinated from October.

Please bear in mind that this will add pressure to the delivery of the service because we will have less time to deliver it

If you're over 65 you may be entitled to a shingles and pneumonia vaccination.

The only thing that saves more lives than vaccination is clean water 💦

Our flu jab service at Ivybridge Pharmacy is BOOKABLE from 23rd September. Please do not call to book beforehand.

We will update you if this changes.

If you are over 65 please make sure that yu have had your ONE-OFF PNEUMONIA vaccination from your GP surgery. Other patients that need this too are

Diabetes
COPD
Immunosuppressed and a direct household contact

Please note that you only have this vaccination ONCE, except in certain specialist circumstances.
