⚠️ Please be advised that essential building improvements and renovation works are scheduled to commence at Albert Road Surgery on Monday 23rd February, taking approximately 4 to 6 weeks to complete.

These works are part of a project to increase consulting rooms and improve facilities at the surgery, which will ultimately allow us to provide an efficient, more modern environment for your care.

From 8am till Lunch time tomorrow we are going to have more upheaval than usual.

Our reception desk won’t be available, it would be helpful if you needed to come to the surgery to leave this till after lunch unless you have a pre-booked appointment.

Our telephone system will be working as normal.

Thursday 12th March is World Kidney Day, a day when we celebrate those who have donated their kidneys and remember those who are waiting for a life-saving kidney transplant.

Last year, over 2,000 organ transplants were kidneys, but there are still almost 7,000 people waiting for a kidney transplant today.

Sadly, the reality is that someone will die waiting for a kidney. By confirming your decision on the NHS Organ Donor Register, in just 2 minutes, you could end up saving a life.
