Penneys Dental Surgery is looking for a fully qualified and GDC registered dental nurse to join our team! We are a well-established and busy practice with six surgeries. We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Dental Nurse to join our friendly team. We primarily offer NHS services, with some private dentistry as well.

Position: Full-Time Dental Nurse
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Location: Penneys Dental Surgery

What We're Looking For:
-A team player who is friendly, enthusiastic, and committed to providing excellent patient care.

-Previous experience with reception duties and computer skills is a plus.

-Familiarity with SOE Exact is preferred but not essential.

Key Responsibilities:

-Provide chairside support to our dentists during patient treatments.

-Assist with reception and administrative duties as needed.

-Road Works in Johnstone-

Carriageway patching works are being carried out on Johnstone High Street and Laighcartside Street from Monday the 17th of June for 5 days. We have been advised by Renfrewshire Council that there will be no access for vehicles on to Laighcartside street/ Lidl car park therefore you will have to find alternative parking if you are travelling by car.
Please leave enough time to arrive for your appointment. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

NHS PRICE INCREASES
From the 1st of November, if you pay for your NHS dental treatment you may notice an increase in treatment charges. These changes have been made by the Scottish Government and we had no control over it – this is NOT set out by us.
• Denture repairs will be charged at £50.88 for registered NHS patients.
• All Treatments involving laboratory fees (dentures, crowns, bridges) MUST be paid in full prior to beginning of treatment.
• All treatment must be carried out on a Pay-As-you-Go basis. Anything carried out on the day must be paid for before leaving the surgery.
*There are more changes to patient fees in the new price update however we feel these changes are going to affect patients the most and want make everyone aware. Again, these changes are not made by us.*
