🌸 Menopause Support Session – Kegworth 🌸

We’d like to let our patients know about an upcoming Menopause Support Session being delivered by our Social Prescribing Team.

Rushcliffe Menopause Café – Kegworth
📍 Kegworth Village Hall, Nottingham Road, Kegworth DE74 2FH

📅 Date: Saturday 28th February
👥 Spaces available: 60 (currently only 10 booked)

This session is designed to offer information, support and a safe space to talk about menopause. It’s being held on a Saturday to make it more accessible for women who work during the week.

We encourage anyone who would like further support or information around menopause to book a place.

📣 Social Prescribing Drop-In Sessions 📣

We’re pleased to let our patients know that our Social Prescribing Team will be running regular drop-in sessions at the practice.

🗓 First session: Tuesday 13th January at Kegworth
⏰ Time: 12:00pm – 3:00pm
📍 Location: At the practice
✅ No appointment needed

After this, sessions will take place every second Tuesday of each month.

If you’d like support with wellbeing, community services, lifestyle changes or local support options, feel free to pop in and have a chat with the team.

Important information regarding our Dispensary from Jan 2026:

Gotham Dispensary – Update to Opening Hours 💊

From Monday 5th January 2026, the Gotham Dispensary will be closed each day between 13:00 and 14:00 🕐

Our dispensary opening hours will be:
Monday: 08:30 – 13:00 & 14:00 – 18:00
Tuesday: 08:30 – 13:00 & 14:00 – 18:00
Wednesday: 08:30 – 13:00 & 14:00 – 18:30
Thursday: 08:30 – 13:00
Friday: 08:30 – 13:00 & 14:00 – 18:00

Please remember to plan your prescription collections outside of the 13:00–14:00 closure ⏰

👉 Good to know: The practice opening hours remain unchanged 🏥

Between October 2024 and September 2025 patients did not attend 308,538 appointments at their GP Practice.

Using an average cost of £30 per appointment with a GP or healthcare professional at a GP practice, this means the financial cost of DNAs in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire was more than £9.25m in the last year.

It is very important to cancel your appointment if you are unable to attend.

Please note that our surgery will be closing at 12:30pm today for our COVID/Flu vaccination clinic.
