Ah, yes, I see this often in people who use heat pads or hot water bottles! Be aware how long you apply said heat to your skin. You might not be able to see your back but skin damage can happen when too much heat is applied directly for too long!

Google Maps!

Google Maps does NOT take you to my new premises!!! It takes you to the housing estate behind the Industrial Estate.... you'll need to climb a fence.... if you can do that then you don't need an osteopath!! 🤣

Seriously, don't use Google maps at the moment.

We start a new chapter at Unit 4 Rosewood Industrial Estate, Shedden Park Rd on Monday! Yay!
Still got a helluva work to do before then, including moving all my stuff over, finish doors and some skirting..... and a whole load of cleaning, oh and celebrate a massive 90th birthday too!
So have a good weekend and see you lot on the other side!

Another busy weekend getting the new clinic ready for the grand opening on the 30th March. It has been hard going for the past 6 weeks, since we decided to move out of 11 Bridge Street. Thirteen years I've worked from this clinic. But, I'm so excited to move and get the next chapter started. Here's to new beginnings!

Our Story

I qualified as an osteopath in 2007 from the University College of Osteopathy (formerly known as the British School of Osteopathy) after 5 years of part-time and full-time studying. I set up my own practice in Kelso, Scottish Borders, not long after graduating. I currently see a variety of patients with an assortment of requests/ailments and enjoy seeking out the ‘why now’ question and working with the patient to improve their overall health. I enjoy working with the sports enthusiast, helping those stuck at their desk, and also the more elderly amongst us who need a helping hand just to get that pint of milk in the morning…. It’s all in the day and life of an Osteopath! The door is always open so to speak, so if you have a question please pop in and see me or better still take the plunge and make an appointment!
