Last Sunday, 8pm.
A service called us, worried they’d have to leave vulnerable people without support overnight.

These calls come in more often than you might think , and every single time, it reminds us why we do what we do.

By 8: 30 pm, we had two brilliant support workers lined up: fully vetted, referenced, and ready to step in.
By 9pm, the panic had eased, and everyone could breathe again.

That’s the side many people don’t always see: the late-night calls, the quick thinking , and most importantly, the trust that’s built over time.

At Halcyon, it’s never “just filling a shift.”
It’s about empathy, integrity, and putting real care into every relationship we build with our clients, our candidates, and the people they support.
