February- Monthly Round up
Top 3 'ni**les'
This month I saw plenty of 'ni**les' within the hips, shoulders and lower back. Lower back and hips coming from a few clients who are in the midst of a marathon training program and shoulders from clients who are doing plenty in the gym or stuck behind a desk grinding out the '9 to 5'
A few good strength and conditioning sessions alongside other workouts can be a great way of injury prevention, one great example for marathon runners is exercises aimed at strengthening the glutes, to get those 'powerhouse' muscles working effectively so that other areas don't become tight and over worked 💪🏻.
Stretching and mobility work is also another vital component that can be completed alongside other workouts in a training block to make sure range of movement remains at it's maximum, as movement can be a therapy in itself!
