March 26th 2026 is National Social Prescribing Day and Kendal Primary Care Network will be sharing information on Wellbeing this week.

What are the 5 ways to wellbeing?

The New Economics Foundation created 5 ways to wellbeing. They're based on evidence and research that shows the links between our health and our wellbeing.

It essentially suggests that if we improve our wellbeing - our health can only benefit positively!

Kendal's Social Prescribers believes that to be a win win!

Can you do anything to help your wellbeing this week?

It's Safer Sleep Week 💤👶

Simple steps can help keep babies safe while they sleep:

✔️ Always place your baby on their back
✔️ Keep their cot clear
✔️ Use a firm, flat, waterproof mattress
✔️ Keep your baby in a smoke‑free environment
✔️ Avoid overheating - keep room temperature between 16-20°C
✔️ Sleep your baby in the same room as you for the first 6 months

Please contact your local pharmacy if you are concerned as they can check this with you. Thanks!
