Some of our stalls are set up ready for our Christmas Market that are just a taste of what's on offer today. Come along, have a mooch, a sausage butty, a cuppa and a cake, stay a while out of the rain. We have a fab tombola and a raffle featuring all our stallholders' work, kids' craft station and full on Christmas cheer 🎁

Our Christmas Craft Market is happening this Saturday. We have many stall holders with a range of lovely crafts and gifts. There'll be jewellery, crochet and knitted items, edible treats, pet gifts, decorations, artwork, photography, cards and much more. Plus a kids' craft station and a very special raffle. We'll also be serving sausage butties, sweet treats and hot drinks. Keep it local and support a small charity this weekend!

Inspired by Patrick Caulfields “Pottery” we were creating our own versions using pots through ball and mountains. We drew them out in pencil then painted with acrylics before finally adding black outlines. WIP.

Yet another organisation promoting creativity as a road to recovery and wellbeing.

Did you know arts could be as beneficial as therapy? 🧶🎨

Our very own Professor Vicky Karkou was featured on ITV News last night, sharing some incredible research about the power of getting creative!

The key takeaway? Engaging in arts-based interventions, like knitting, painting or crocheting can offer mental health benefits that are nearly as impactful as traditional talking therapies. It’s all about finding a "peaceful place" and reconnecting your mind.

We're proud to be pioneering this important research in Arts and Wellbeing!
