Today at Heatherdale, we were delighted to welcome a very special visitor — Santa himself 🎅
Despite his incredibly busy schedule, he made an extra stop just for us, bringing plenty of festive cheer.
Santa took the time to personally visit all our lovely residents, delivering their Christmas presents with a smile and a kind word for everyone. His visit added an extra magical sparkle to Christmas Eve, filling Heatherdale with warmth, happiness, and the true spirit of the season. 🎄✨🎅

Today was Heatherdale’s Christmas staff celebration 🎅 🥳 and it was truly a festive, fun, and fabulous day. The atmosphere was full of cheer as we enjoyed party games, delicious food, and plenty of laughter.

We held a staff lucky-draw raffle with some amazing prizes, adding extra excitement to the celebrations. Everyone also enjoyed giving and receiving their Secret Santa gifts 🎁 which brought lots of smiles and holiday spirit.

A special highlight of the day was the Heatherdale Elf Awards, where several staff members were recognised and celebrated for their hard work, dedication, and commitment throughout the year. It was a wonderful way to reflect on our achievements and show appreciation for our amazing team 🤩

Christmas Jumper Day 2025 at Heatherdale was a wonderful success!
Residents and staff proudly got into the festive spirit, donning their Christmas jumpers and T Shirts to raise money for our chosen charity this year, Age UK Kent Rivers, a charity that supports older people and adults with learning disabilities.
Everyone had a fantastic time celebrating together, sharing plenty of laughs along the way, and we’re delighted to say we raised £33 for a great cause.
Well done and thank you to everyone who took part — festive fun for a brilliant reason! 🎄🎅

At the weekend, Heatherdale celebrated Christmas in true festive style with a party full of sparkle, laughter, and plenty of jingle bells! 🎶🎄

The afternoon was filled with singing and dancing as we were entertained by the fantastic John Urban, who had everyone joining in as he belted out crowd-pleasing tunes alongside some much-loved Christmas favourites. The festive spirit was well and truly alive! 🎅

Everyone enjoyed delicious mince pies and warming mulled wine, alongside a mouth-watering buffet. The Residents’ Retreat Bar was busier than ever, serving refreshments and spreading cheer to everyone throughout the afternoon! 🍷🥧

We rounded off the celebrations with our Grand Festive Raffle, which was a huge success. With some amazing prizes up for grabs, we were delighted to raise a fantastic £184 for our Residents’ Activity Fund – thank you to everyone who supported it! 😘

A huge thank you to all our wonderful family and friends of Heatherdale who came along to celebrate with us. Your support and smiles made the day truly special. We had an amazing time and created some lovely festive memories together.

Dust off your Christmas jumper or pull on your most festive T-shirt and join us on Thursday 18th December for a day full of cheer, sparkle, and goodwill!

We’ll be raising money for our chosen charity this year, Age UK Kent Rivers – an amazing organisation that supports older people and adults with learning disabilities, along with their families and carers, helping them to achieve life fullness and live happier, more independent lives.

Whether your jumper jingles, your T-shirt sparkles, or makes people laugh, every outfit worn helps make a real difference. 🎄❤️

What a day for our John! We celebrated his birthday in style, and John was rocking a unique tux that made him look absolutely dapper 🤵🏾
John’s two favourite nieces showed up with lots of gifts and a giant chocolate cake, and he loves cake!! 💙🎂When everyone burst into a lively chorus of “Happy Birthday,” his smile said it all 😊

We had the most wonderful afternoon today with the Beaver Scout troop, who came to visit our residents.
The Beavers have been hard at work over the past few weeks creating thoughtful Christmas gifts for each and every one of our residents, and today was the special day they delivered them.
As if the handmade presents weren’t enough, we were also treated to some beautiful carol singing that filled the room with festive cheer and truly lifted everyone’s spirits.
A heartfelt thank you to the Beaver Scouts for their kindness, creativity, and the tremendous effort they put into making these gifts.
Your visit brought so much joy, and our residents greatly appreciated your company.
We hope to welcome you back soon 💚
