John’s two favourite nieces showed up with lots of gifts and a giant chocolate cake, and he loves cake!! 💙🎂When everyone burst into a lively chorus of “Happy Birthday,” his smile said it all 😊

We had the most wonderful afternoon today with the Beaver Scout troop, who came to visit our residents.
The Beavers have been hard at work over the past few weeks creating thoughtful Christmas gifts for each and every one of our residents, and today was the special day they delivered them.
As if the handmade presents weren’t enough, we were also treated to some beautiful carol singing that filled the room with festive cheer and truly lifted everyone’s spirits.
A heartfelt thank you to the Beaver Scouts for their kindness, creativity, and the tremendous effort they put into making these gifts.
Your visit brought so much joy, and our residents greatly appreciated your company.
We hope to welcome you back soon 💚

They have kindly contributed £50 for our team to enjoy some delicious snacks over the Christmas period.
Their kindness and thoughtfulness mean so much to us, and we cannot thank them enough for their wonderful gift ❤️

Today was a very special day at Heatherdale as we welcomed Abby and the Pet Set Party Animals.
Abby brought along a wonderful variety of animals for our residents to meet up close, creating plenty of excitement and curiosity throughout the home.
Everyone enjoyed learning fascinating facts about each animal, and the residents were delighted to stroke, hold, and interact with them.
There was lots and lots of “oohs” and “aahs” as Abby shared her knowledge and made the experience truly memorable.
It was a magical afternoon that brought joy, comfort, and connection to everyone who took part.
A huge thank you to Abby for giving us such an unforgettable visit! 🐍🐰🦎🪱

Today we had our final fitness session with John from GFitness before Christmas. We had great fun, and he definitely put us through our paces 🏋️‍♂️ just in time to earn a little extra chocolate over the festive holidays!

We had a wonderfully busy afternoon today when our friends from Hedgehogs Nursery came to visit 🥰
Lots of laughter and cheerful chatter as everyone enjoyed spending time together. We even had a lively little sing-along that brought big smiles to all our faces.
