My name is David Mayhew and I am the Managing Director and Lead Trainer for Target First Aid Ltd. I have been a first aid trainer for over 20 years, alongside being an operational fire fighter for 30 years. Having retired from the Fire Service in 2017 it has allowed me to focus all my attention on Target First Aid Ltd delivering high quality first aid training.
Although we predominantly cover Kent, Essex, East Sussex and London we can deliver training in other areas – please contact us if you need more information.
All the trainers that work with us at Target First Aid Ltd have been instructing for many years and have gathered a wealth of knowledge and experience through working in the Emergency Services.
We believe passionately that training is most effective if it is communicated in a clear, concise manner by trainers who can engage with people, making the course enjoyable and memorable. We have therefore, chosen the trainers that work with us carefully, and monitor the quality and effectiveness of training regularly.
We want to provide high quality training so it was important to us that we became a Qualsafe training station. This allows us to offer Ofqual regulated qualifications that are Ofsted compliant and are either NVQ level 2 or 3.
We also have the flexibility to ‘tailor’ courses to meet the specific needs of any workplace. We follow the government guidelines when delivering 1st aid training – maintaining the high standards that were previously imposed by the HSE.
Our current client base is wide and varied, it includes: theatres, a local hospice, schools and nurseries, fostering agencies, gyms, the construction industry and care homes to name but a few!
