Samantha Goddard Hypnotherapy

Samantha Goddard Hypnotherapy I’m Sam, Advanced Clinical Hypnotherapist & mum of 3. I help teens overcome anxiety, overwhelm & low self-worth to thrive with confidence. "It's liberating.

I also support mums & women entrepreneurs to feel calmer, clearer & empowered, so families can truly flourish. I am a Rapid Transformational Therapy Practitioner, Nutrition & Weight Management Advisor and Fitness Instructor. I'm a member of the Royal Society for Public Health, with over 22 years experience in the health & wellness industry. I am also co-creator of The "life changing" Menopause Fit Program. I help women who feel self conscious about how they look and dislike their body, they feel anxious and worry what other people think of them, they hate disappointing others and feel a need to mask how they really feel inside. I wish I'd done it years ago. I'm not trying, it's just happening." "I'm not trying not to eat rubbish, I just don't want it - it's weird!"
"My mindset has definitely changed, something has clicked in my brain." As a Rapid Transformational Therapy Practitioner I get to the root cause of the issue and help my clients transform beliefs they hold about themselves, then imprint powerful new beliefs into their subconscious mind, so they feel good in themselves, like how they look and feel confident and happy. I've worked with women who have spent over 20 years dieting and battling with unwanted weight to completely transform their relationship with food and their body. Transforming emotional eating habits into a desire to eat healthy foods and unlocking their natural ability to be a weight they feel comfortable with, without the battle or struggle. So they feel relaxed and calm within themselves, feel good and confident in their body and really like how they look so they can get on with enjoying life.

“It’s effortless, it feels like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders. I’ve stopped trying. After years of diets, I feel free.”

As we slide into January, the post Christmas fatigue can feel very heavy.

All the events… family expectations… work deadlines… the festive pressure to have “made it magical” for everyone else.

If you’re feeling like your been put through the ringer, drained or are simply emotionally exhausted after taking care of everyones else's needs, Then you're in the right place.

I’m planning some online group therapy sessions called, "The Everyday Therapy Toolkit."

I'll be sharing some simply strategies and therapeutic tools for a calmer everyday life. Helping you reconnect, reset, and feel more like you.

I'm currently in the creation process, so I'd appreciate it if you would let me know:
Would you come to something like this?
Would you prefer a monthly or fortnightly session?

Tell me below or DM me. I’d love your thoughts. 💛

Ah yes… the most predictable part of Christmas, but not the part shown in any Christmas advertising!

Old roles reappear.
Buttons get pressed.
Someone comments on your life choices, your parenting, your cooking!

A gentle reminder from your local therapist:
✨ You don’t have to explain yourself
✨ You don’t have to fix anyone
✨ You’re allowed to step away

My favourite Texan lawyer, Jefferson Fisher, has some brilliant tips for dealing with passive aggresive comments, including:

1. Ask them to repeat it, "I didn't quite catch that, can you repeat what you said?"
2. Question their intent, "Did you mean that to sound unkind/rude/hurtful?"
3. If things feel tense, name it. "Is it me, or does this conversation feel a bit tense?"

Boundaries aren’t about pushing people out, they’re about keeping yourself safe.

Sending you love, steadiness, and permission to protect your peace this Christmas.

If Christmas has you navigating family dynamics, old patterns, and emotional triggers… I hear you.

Boundaries are not unkind.
They’re self-respect with a bow on top 🎁

May you feel supported, grounded, and allowed to say “no” when you need to.

Wishing you a peaceful, joyful Christmas, in whatever way feels right for you.

Better sleep starts in your mind.

Anxiety and overthinking keep your body in alert mode, hypnotherapy helps deactivate that, retraining your subconscious to rest.

My client said, “I’m sleeping through until morning. I feel calmer and happier during the day.”

Ready to rest deeply again? Book your free consultation.

You know the woman who holds everyone else together?
The one who’s “fine”, capable, organised, helpful, reliable?

She’s often the one falling apart quietly.

In the last few months, I’ve worked with so many incredible women who secretly feel:

Overwhelmed - Stretched in every direction - Emotionally drained - Too tired to think, too wired to sleep - Guilty for wanting help and Afraid everything might collapse if THEY stop.

Here’s the part they say in a whisper:
“I don’t know how much longer I can keep going like this.”

This is where hypnotherapy changes everything.

It helps you:
✨ Switch off the overthinking
✨ Soothe the nervous system
✨ Release the emotional load
✨ Rebuild your inner strength
✨ Feel more grounded, clear and capable

If you’re in Sevenoaks and ready to find your calm again, I’d be honoured to support you.

Strong doesn’t mean unsupported.
Strong means knowing when you need help and asking for it.

Ever feel like your brain is full before you even get out of bed?

Women don’t just juggle tasks, we juggle everyone’s expectations, emotions, reminders, logistics, needs, and “could you just…?” requests.

By lunchtime, the invisible load feels heavier than the actual day.

This is what I see from the women I work with at my private practice in Sevenoaks…

- Carrying everything and everyone
- Feeling responsible for holding it all together
- Running on empty
- Secretly wondering, “Why can’t I cope like I used to?”
- Feeling guilty for struggling

They think they are failing, it's not failure, they are overloaded.

Hypnotherapy helps calm the overwhelm at the root, quietens the racing thoughts, softens the mental noise and reconnects you with the part of you that can breathe again.

If you need to feel lighter, clearer and more like YOU, I’d love to help.
I’m Samantha, your local hypnotherapist in Sevenoaks, supporting women to reclaim their calm and step out of survival mode.

It's ok to be skeptical about hypnosis, I was too before I studied it. Many of my clients are still skeptical even when they arrive for their first appointment.

It's only when you experience it for yourself, that you'll truly appreciate how it works.

Plus, it's normal to feel nervous for your first appointment. You are sitting in an unfamiliar room, with and unfamiliar person. Not 100% sure what's about to happen. I'd be worried if you weren't a bit nervous.

But that's where I come in. It is MY job to put you at ease, explain the process, give you time and space to ask questions. It's a collaboration. The more comfortable you feel with me, the deeper you will allow yourself to relax.

Everyone is different, and at different stages of readiness. You get to choose and decide what you need. My job is to facilitate you finding the answers and gently guide the session. But the transformation is all yours.

So if you would like to explore therapy that uses hypnosis, pop me a message or book yourself in for a free consultation call. The link is in my bio or on my website. www.samantha-goddard.com

You may find yourself saying, "I wish I'd done this sooner."

How to Feel Calmer & More Relaxed Step 5 of 5. Thinking about something you feel grateful for, it will change your emotional state, very quickly. It’s hard to feel grateful when in a heightened state of anxiety, which is why steps 1-4 come first. You’ve taken your mind and body out of stress and into the present moment, now you can feel gratitude in your heart. That will raise your energy, lift your mood and help you enjoy your day.

Hope you’ve enjoyed my mini series, let me know if you’ve tried out the steps or if you have your own version that works for you.

I use these steps, when I’m driving, doing the school run, walking the dog, sitting at my laptop, before I start work, in bed at night if I wake up, The funny thing is, as soon as I remember step one, my body instantly relaxes. Regular practice has made it automatic. These tiny steps count and everyone can do them.

Please share them with anyone you know who needs support to switch to a calmer state.

Love Sam ###

Step 4 of 5 in How to Feel Calmer & More Relaxed- is all about supporting and empowering yourself using better thoughts and words. Your subconscious mind listens to every thought you think and every word you say, so by using supportive words your subconscious can tell your body (and adrenals) you’re safe, you’re secure, you’re fine.

Our purpose is to care for one another

I’m passionate about helping women improve their health, fitness and mental well being at a time in their lives when they need care and attention too. Women are so busy taking care of their family members and friends they often neglect their own health and well being and struggle along, suffering in silence. My purpose is to help and support women who want to improve their health, fitness and well being. So they can live their best life and continue to be independent in their senior years.
