Congratulations Powderham on 700 years of Powderham Castle being under the stewardship of the Courtenay family.

What an incredible day this will be today. With our deepest respect and gratitude for all you do for our community, often quietly but with impact.

Here's to another 700 years :) Happy Sepcentennial Celebrations!

Come and help us celebrate 700 years of Powderham and the Courtenays tomorrow. Enjoy cream teas by the lakeside and explore all the wonders of Powderham with your loved ones.

Admission is donation-based; simply pay what you can. All donations go towards planting 700 trees here at Powderham 🌳

The weather is looking promising (fingers crossed!), but if it does take a turn, don’t worry - we’ve got a castle to shelter in! 🏰

🎄🌟 Wishing You a Joyful Festive Season! 🌟🎄

As the year draws to a close, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to all our participants, funders, and supporters. Your involvement and belief in our work have truly embodied the spirit of community and connection, reminding us that together we can achieve so much. A very special thank you to Powderham for your incredible support this year and Greenwich Hospital, Torbay Council and the UK Shared Prosperity Fund for funding this years specialist projects.

It has been an honour to be invited to join the Eastern Devon Mental Health Partnership Group and the Devon Trauma Network. It is wonderful to collaborate with like minded organisations dedicated to making a difference in our community. It has also been an honour to work with such a diverse and brilliant range of organisations through our recent projects including the University of the West of England (we enjoyed working with your students), GMC, Drumfork Centre, Drumfork Nursery NFF, NF PS, Naval Children's Charity, RNRMC, Reading Force, Aggies, Dr Milestone, Never Such Innocence HMS Oardacious Powderham Live CIC Kenton Primary school, Cockwood Primary school, a local nursing home, Oakwood College, Gone Wild Festival Devon, Heropreneurs Elizabeth Casson Trust and our brilliant colleges at Powderham creating some magic and connection when it really matters.

As we celebrate this special time of year in our own ways, may it be filled with peace, kindness, and a sense of belonging. Here's to a hopeful and inspiring year ahead for all.

🌟🎄 Nature and Art for All Exhibition – 10th December at Powderham Castle 🎨🌿

We are delighted to invite you to the Nature and Art for All Exhibition, a celebration of creativity and community, taking place on the 10th December at the stunning Powderham Castle!

This project,funded through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (https://shorturl.at/9qU1V) via Teignbridge District Council, has brought together children, students, toddlers, and care home residents to create incredible land art and photography inspired by the natural world and the works of Andy Goldsworthy and Nils Udo. The result is a beautiful collection of art that reflects imagination, collaboration, and a deep connection to and with nature.

Before enjoying the magical Powderham Lights, visit the Music Room to view this inspiring exhibition. The art will be on display from 8pm, following a private viewing for the artists and their families.

This week we ran a special walk session for those touched by baby loss. We rested together, painted memory stones and created this beautiful mandala in memory of our little ones and to connect with others who know the loss of a little one.
