Yin yoga, this is a slow, meditative yoga style where passive floor-based poses are held for extended periods (3-10 minutes) to target deep connective tissues like fascia, ligaments, and joints This helps to improve flexibility and range of motion.
Unlike dynamic "yang" yoga that builds muscle, yin yoga focuses on stillness, breathwork, and mental awareness to release tension, calm the nervous system, and encourage the flow of subtle energy (Qi) through the body.
