Manor Farm Care Home Manor Farm Care Home is dedicated to providing excellent care for the elderly. The home is situated in a central location, close to all local amenities.

Manor Farm Care Home is a 25 bed care home, specialising in care of older people, located in Kessingland. Manor Farm Care Home was established in 1984 and is a large house set in attractive landscaped gardens. The management are currently investing a significant amount of time and money into a complete refurbishment of the home to bring it up to modern standards. All bedrooms are spacious and well equipped and have been designed to make sure our residents feel at home in a warm and comfortable setting. Residents are encouraged to bring personal items with them to promote an atmosphere of familiarity. We understand that choosing the right care home is a big decision and one that should be made with assistance from relatives and loved-ones. We encourage prospective residents and family members to assist in visits to ensure they feel comfortable in our home. At Manor Farm Care Home we are committed to providing the highest standard of care. The dignity of our residents is a priority to us, the care we administer is always done so with respect, compassion and understanding.

⭐️ We had a small awards ceremony at Manor Farm today. Our activities co-ordinator, Amanda handed out recognition awards to all of our residents. Our lovely Coral, won Dancing Queen 2025!

Kylie, then followed on with awards to some of our team: Our kind and caring natured, inspiring leader, Abbie deservingly won ‘Shining Star 2025’. Amanda, was recognised as ‘Community Champion’ for living our core values and promoting wellbeing through social activities and Harriet was awarded ‘Standing ovation’ for November 2025… she really is an outstanding newcomer to the team! We are super proud of our entire team and thank them all for a wonderful year! ⭐️

We have had a lovely couple of afternoons watching Sleeping Beauty at The Marina Theatre in Lowestoft. Of course, we had ice-cream during the interval and got to chat with Terry Gleed ( Chester) who also gave our residents and Manor Farm a shout out on stage along with Nicole Faraday ( you may recognise from Bad Girls or Emmerdale) before our lovely driver, Phil, from BACT drove us home. In a care home bright where laughter dwells,
Lives Donna the elf with mischievous spells.
Not tall or small, but cheeky by trade,
With a wink and a grin, trouble gently made🎅🏽

She skips past Ann and Jan with a knowing smile,
Chats with Mike and stays a while.
John gets a joke, timed just right,
And Coral laughs till her eyes shine bright⭐️

She pops in on Pam with a cup of tea,
Sits with Jean like family.
Middy gets teased (all in good fun),
While Berry and Joan say, “She’s my favourite one!”☃️

She waves to Bob and Diane with a playful cheer,
Christine laughs when Donna’s near.
With Freda she chats, with Avril she sings,
Small moments that mean the biggest things 🎁

David gets banter, Maureen a hug,
Val gets a wink and a comforting shrug.
Grace shares a smile, Caroline a grin,
As Donna’s bright magic works from within 🧑‍🎄

She’ll tease the staff and charm residents too,
With jokes just naughty enough to amuse.
A twinkle-eyed elf with a heart so kind,
Leaving dull or lonely days far behind⭐️

When spirits dip or days feel long,
Donna appears with laughter and song.
In trainers or slippers, rain or sun,
She shows us that caring can still be fun 🎄

So here’s to Donna, the elf who proves
That love lives loud in the smallest moves.
In a home full of hearts, she’s a mischievous gem,
Loved by every single one of them 🥰

We had another Christmas Dinner today with our lovely families, Prosecco was flowing and just look at that Paris Breast that was lovingly home made by our chef, Christine! We wish we had taken more pictures, but we were too busy singing Christmas songs and pulling crackers!
