This afternoon our residents enjoyed a cup of delicious soup that our wonderful chef made from the insides of the pumpkins we carved yesterday .

Pumpkin soup is now a firm favourite 😋

Volunteers are the heart of ExtraCare and here at Sunley, we would be lost without ours.
Every single person that volunteers for us is valued and appreciated beyond measure, for the difference that they make.
I would like to give a shout out to two volunteers in particular this evening - Clare and Mike.
This wonderful pair go above and beyond for us. Not only do they host a monthly evening which takes so much of their time and effort , they support our wellbeing walks , play key roles in festive events and are involved in helping behind the scenes in all manner of ways. We are so lucky to have them and so proud to announce that they have WON THE HEART OF EXTRACARE AWARD!! 💚💚💚💚
We couldn't be prouder of this very well earned achievement.

We recently hosted a birthday celebration for our lovely Sheila where we enjoyed delicious food and drinks, lots of laughter and die some there was even a little dance in the lounge afterwards!
We really enjoy celebrating each other at Sunley and it's even more enjoyable for residents when they can bring lots of people that they care about together and share their special moments with both their families and their Sunley friends 🩷 🎉🎂🎈
