This Thursday we will be hosting an open day here at John Drage Funeral Directors.

Our Funeral Home will be open between 10:00 and 14:00 during which time we invite members of our local community to pop in for a cuppa, a chat and, should you wish a tour too.

The open day is designed to give people the opportunity to dispell any myths they may have with regards to funerals, to discuss funeral plans, tour our facilities and to meet with one of our fantastic local celebrants.

Today, Andy, along with Connor, Ken, Dee and Mark helped a family say goodbye to a cherished loved one at the Albert Munn Chapel, Kettering.
The beautiful service was delivered with precision by Shelley With Love - Celebrant. Vicki, as always, arranged with care and attention.

Family and friends gathered at the Albert Munn Chapel, Warren Hill Crematorium, Kettering today to say goodbye to their loved one, who also was a big Liverpool supporter (so red was the colour of the day). Reverend Martin Swan and our arranger Vicki, worked together to make the service flow beautifully.

Warren Hill Crematorium in Kettering was the setting today for Andy, Connor, Craig, Alan and Ken to help two families say goodbye to their loved ones.

The Albert Munn was first, where the service included a recorded eulogy from Australia, allowing a daughter to say goodbye to her Mum along with the rest of the family.

The Edgar Newman followed this afternoon, where celebrant Sue Homer, a friend of the loved one for 50 years, helped the family say goodbye to a loving Wife, Mother and Grandmother.

Both the beautiful services were arranged by Vicki.

Today, our Funeral Director Andy, along with Connor, Craig, Ken and Alan, had the honour of assisting a family to say goodbye to a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, friend and a much respected member of the community.

St James the Great Church of Gretton was the idyllic setting under beautiful sunshine, where Reverend Joe Griffiths delivered a service that was fitting for such a loved and respected gentleman.

Arranged perfectly, as always, by Vee who is based at our sister branch in Corby.

Today, Andy, along with Connor, Mark, Craig, Ken and Vee had the honour of helping a loving family say goodbye to a precious Son. The Service, which was held at Living Faith International Ministries Church in Corby, was a celebration of life, a community coming together, showing that there are people that come from afar to help at a time in need.

As always, it was a privilege for us to play a small part of the day 💙

Alan, Craig, Connor, Mark and Ken joined Andy today to help a family say a last goodbye to a devoted, loving Sister and friend. Angela Darlow provided a touching Service in the Albert Munn Chapel at Warren Hill Crematorium, after working alongside our arranger Vicki. Today, Andy assisted our colleague’s at Bruce Carter & Son Funeral Directors, by helping a family say goodbye to a loving Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Sister and friend at the sun-drenched Nene Valley Crematorium in Wellingborough. Connor, Alan, Craig and Mark made sure everything went well as Reverend Michelle delivered a beautiful service.
