Hi Everyone! I wouldnt usually do a post like this but im completely at a loss and I need your help.
This mans name is Krisztian Olah, he is the mechanic who currently has my van. He has now had the van for 4 months, even though he gave me a lead time of 3 weeks initially.
Unfortunately i have had one excuse after another, and when i went to request to collect my van over a month ago, to take it elsewhere, he refused to give me the address.
I still do not know where my van is being stored.
He is a part time mechanic, who works in Europe during the week. Something i did not know when he took the job on.
I had used him previously for road side repairs and I was happy with his work, which is why i gave him the job of rebuilding my engine after the timing belt snapped.
We do know he lives in Wellingborough and, as of only last week, we have now established the van is being kept at a private yard but he will still not give me the location.
His replies are few and far in between and we are not getting anywhere.
I am deeply stressed. Waking for periods during the night, worrying how I am going to work.
I have been hiring a van for a whopping £200 per week just so I can work. Something I am unable to do any longer.
So here I am.
I have a loan against this van and will not get much if i wrote it off with insurance, so ideally that is my last resort if possible.
Does anyone recognise this man? Does anyone know where this yard might be in Wellingborough?
Can i report this as a crime and will the police locate the van? Or will that be a waste of time?
Does anyone have any legal advice for me on where i stand?

I just want to collect my van in whatever state its in, with all its parts, and take it elsewhere.
