The Seb Factor is back for 2026!

Our live show will this year be at The Lighthouse Theatre on Sunday 4th October, and we are now open for applications.

We are looking for: singers, dancers musicians, and performers of any kind.

You can be a soloist, part of a pair or trio, or part of a larger group. Our categories will be: younger girls, younger boys, older performers and groups.

You have until the 31st of May to get your application in ahead of our audition day in the summer.

Lots of time - could you follow in the footsteps of Darcey in 2025 and Sabina in 2024?

Hi, my name is Eli and I am a student at Brooke Weston Academy.

I will be running 5km a day for the next 30 days to raise money for my step-brother Max’s cancer treatment. Max is a kind caring boy who never fails to put a smile on everyone’s face.

I have decided to run 5km a day to set myself a challenge and hopefully to inspire others to exercise more, as it is a key component to a healthier lifestyle. My family and I will be doing this to support my step-brother Max with his treatment and further recovery after treatment.

On this day five years ago we drove home for Christmas after our near six month stay at QMC in Nottingham.

On more than one occasion we were told we would never get out of Critical care, let alone see home again and get another three years with Sebastian. We miss you every day little man.

Even when the festive season gets fraught and stressful, remember you never know what's round the corner, and every day is filled with new opportunities to make memories.

Thanks to everyone who has supported us this year. We have raised thousands again to help young people and their siblings with complex medical needs in Kettering and North Northamptonshire.

Orange Day 2026 is on Friday 13th March, and we will open applications for next year's The Seb Factor in early January.

Two whole years since our amazing little man switched on the Kettering Christmas Lights. We had no idea we had so little time left at that point.

If you're going to the Kettering switch on this evening then make sure you spare a thought for Sebastian, and make sure you cheer on the winner of this year's The Seb Factor - Darcey Burnham - as she takes to the stage!

We are delighted to announce that, after expenses, and taking in to account our contestant fundraising, raffle, ticket sales and sponsors, that the grand total raised for Youth Works at The Seb Factor 2025 is… £6,500! That – along with the £5,000 from The Seb Factor 2024 and the £8,000 from Orange Day 2025 – means that we have raised nearly TWENTY THOUSAND POUNDS!

Thanks once again to all of our contestants, judges and supporters – we will see you for ORANGE DAY 2026 (Friday 13th March) and see who can take Darcey’s crown at THE SEB FACTOR 3!

This year’s winner – Darcey Burnham – will be performing at the Kettering Christmas Lights Switch On THIS THURSDAY!

In other news… we are excited to welcome our new arrival, Joss Violet Nunney, to the world. Sebastian would be as bewitched by his little sister as we are, and we can’t wait to see if she has the same love for performing and music as her big brother!

It's been a week since Darcey Burnham smashed it at The Seb Factor!

A reminder that the raffle is live until 1750 this (Saturday) evening, with the prize draw at 1800 - so if you want to buy any more tickets you still have a chance!
