This will make you smile 😊🎶

As we were setting up for choir, Tyler sang along using his Makaton signs.

He’s never happier than when he’s rocking out and enjoying the music - such a lovely moment to capture 💙

We’re proud to give a shout out to Extra UK, one of our long-standing outsourcing partners 💙

Through our partnership with Extra UK, our members take part in paid work preparing Clif Bar boxes - including sorting, counting, bagging and boxing.

It’s hands-on, real-world work that helps develop vital workplace skills such as numeracy, communication and task management.

Our members value this opportunity hugely. Being part of a team, working towards shared goals and producing high-quality work gives a real sense of purpose, responsibility and pride.

All earnings are reinvested directly back into the charity, helping fund trips, activities and experiences for our members.

Thank you, Extra UK, for being such a valued partner and for continuing to create meaningful opportunities 🙌

We’re on the lookout for a new home for our Corby centre 📍

We’re looking for an open, welcoming and accessible building in or around Corby that could become a modern hub for learning, activities and community connection for our members.

Ideally, the space would include:

- Good public transport links, so our members can continue with their independent travel training

- Outdoor space to support horticultural activities, including room for a polytunnel

- Space to support between 20 and 40 service users on any one day

- Office space for up to 8 staff members

- A quiet room for reflection and wellbeing sessions

- Car parking for up to 8 vehicles, including space for a future minibus we’re fundraising for in 2026

We own our buildings and would ideally be looking to purchase a suitable property, though rental options would also be considered.

If you’re a local business, landlord, organisation or simply know of a space that could work for a community-focused charity like ours, we’d love to hear from you.

Please get in touch or help us spread the word - your support could help us create the next chapter for our Corby members 💙

Meet Kylan, who joined us last September as part of his transition from college 💙

From the start, Kylan settled in well and has shared how much he enjoys the Teamwork Trust environment, describing it as warm, welcoming and friendly.

He’s talked about how supported he’s felt by both staff and other members, and how being part of the community has helped him feel included and at ease.

Before joining us, Kylan shared that the days he wasn’t at college could feel long, and that he sometimes felt bored and isolated at home.

But he’s made new friends since joining us and feels more confident in himself.

Looking ahead, Kylan has ideas he’d love to explore, including introducing gym sessions with other members, working alongside our staff team to help lead them, and even fundraising towards new gym equipment.

We’re proud to have Kylan as part of our community and we’re excited to support him as he continues to build confidence and take his next steps 🙌

We’re hiring an Enterprise Coach to join the team at our Corby centre 👋

Our members are adults with learning disabilities and/or autism, and we support them by creating inclusive, person-centred environments where everyone can thrive.

As an Enterprise Coach, you’ll play a key role in leading our social enterprise activities alongside our members. You’ll contribute to skill development and confidence-building through a mix of coaching, quality assurance, stock management and customer fulfilment.

This is a part-time role (9:30-14:30 Monday to Friday), based at our Corby centre (NN18 8AN).

We’re proud to share our recently launched, new Teamwork Trust website 💙

Designed to reflect our strategic goals, the new site has been co-produced with our members, ensuring it truly represents the people and voices that shape Teamwork Trust every day.

It acts as a clear sign-posting tool, helping families, partners and supporters quickly find the information they need.

The website was designed by Poppy Design Studio and funded by The National Lottery Community Fund, supporting the development and visibility of our My Enterprise programme, and we're incredibly grateful for their support in bringing this project to life.

Take a look and explore the new site 👉 https://teamworktrust.co.uk/

Volunteering with us is about connection, purpose and making a positive impact - for our members and for you too.

If 2026 feels like the year to get involved, we’d love to hear from you 🙌

We’ve had the most wonderful Christmas parties across all three of our centres in Kettering, Wellingborough and Corby 🎄💙

Each celebration was full of festive fun, with games, quizzes, presents, delicious Christmas lunches and plenty of singing and dancing.

The Christmas lunches at our Kettering and Wellingborough centres were kindly cooked by RCI, while the Corby lunch was prepared by volunteers from RS.

Bringing our members, staff, volunteers and partners together to celebrate, smile and enjoy the season as a community is what Christmas at Teamwork Trust is all about ✨

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make these celebrations so special, including our teams of amazing volunteers, our wonderful community guests and, of course, Santa himself 🎅

Merry Christmas, everyone!

Spreading Christmas cheer with Rachel and Norman at Age UK Northamptonshire’s Kettering Day Centre 🎄💙

The Christmas gifts were a thank you for all the support Age UK has given us throughout the year.

We’re especially grateful for the time and care shown to Norman and Rachel during their volunteering, and it was lovely to give something back and celebrate our connection.

Wishing everyone at Age UK a very happy Christmas! 🎄
