Access to safe, reliable transport is not a luxury for many of the people we support - it’s a lifeline 💙

That’s why we're fundraising to purchase a new electric minibus to keep our members connected, independent and engaged in their communities.

Without accessible transport, many would face isolation at home, unable to attend life-skills sessions, volunteering placements, work experience or social activities that build confidence and independence.

A new minibus will help us:

👉 Reduce isolation and loneliness
👉 Enable access to volunteering and employment opportunities
👉 Support independence and wellbeing
👉 Strengthen community connection
👉 Lower our environmental impact through cleaner transport

This is our key fundraising campaign for 2026, and we need your help to make it happen.

Every journey makes a difference, and every donation moves us closer to our target 🚐

You can support the campaign through our fundraising page:

An electric minibus will give our service users, regardless of ability or background, Chances, Choices and Opportunities. It will give them life experiences that would otherwise be out of reach and help them grow as individuals. Thank you.

We recently started our new Mental Health and Wellbeing session for adults with learning disabilities and autism 💙

Members took part in a group discussion about what mental health is, in a calm and supportive environment.

Each person received their own wellbeing book to decorate and keep as part of their journey.

The session also included mindful music and calming bubble visuals, helping everyone to relax, engage and feel at ease.

A really positive and enjoyable first session, and a great start to the programme ✨

We celebrated Chinese New Year across our three centres with a Chinese Dance Workshop 🐉

Led by Primary Workshops for Schools , our members took part in various dances, using traditional props to bring the movements to life.

The session was full of energy, colour and self-expression, with members developing coordination, confidence and performance skills while working together as a group.

It was wonderful to see everyone getting involved, trying something new and celebrating a different culture through movement and creativity.

A brilliant way to mark Chinese New Year! Thank you to Primary Workshops for Schools for such an engaging and inclusive workshop 🙌

Independence looks different for each of our members.

One recent Independent Living Skills session focused on building confidence through everyday tasks.

The group learned how to care for clothes - reading labels, checking what’s safe to iron, practising ironing and finishing by making the bed neatly 🛏️

In another session, Adam and Ben worked on money and planning skills by creating a shopping list, choosing items and heading to Aldi.

At the checkout, they handled money and practised social skills, all part of building real-life independence 💷

Small steps, practical learning and lots of pride along the way.

👏

“The service we offer develops skills that go beyond the walls of our centres.” 💬

We’re a progression service, supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism to build skills that lead to a more independent future.

Through a specialised pathway, members develop practical, transferable skills in real working environments, progressing into supported volunteering and, where it’s their goal, paid employment.

Every journey is different, but the aim is the same - creating clear pathways, real opportunities and meaningful progression to help members achieve their own version of independence 💙

We love our little Lego Club in Corby 🫶

The group recently created heart sculptures as part of a Valentine’s project.

Everyone approached it in their own creative way, with different techniques, colours and styles, but all equally amazing!

The Lego Club members were very proud of their final pieces 👏

We provide an environment where our members can step outside their comfort zone feeling safe and supported 💙

Channie has been doing just that by logging onto a computer in our Learning and Opportunities Hub - her first time using one since leaving school.

She’s been navigating her way around the design space and giving it a go, building confidence as she learns something new.

A brilliant achievement, and a big well done to Channie 👏

There was a lot of love in the air across our three centres as we celebrated Valentine's Day! 💕

We held parties in Corby, Wellingborough and Kettering, with members enjoying lots of love, laughter and fun.

The parties included a silent disco, quizzes, games, bingo bongo, karaoke, plenty of singing and dancing, and lots of photos to capture the memories.

A brilliant way to celebrate friendship, connection and being part of something special together 💙

The latest trip for our Wellingborough History Club was to Jeyes Earls Barton!📍

Travelling by bus to Earls Barton, the group stopped for a drink at the café at Jeyes before heading upstairs to explore their fascinating heritage museum.

From wartime memorabilia and the history of the local shoe industry, to learning about the Jeyes family and the invention of the well-known Jeyes disinfectant...

There was lots to discover! And we loved our trip.

A big thank you to the lovely team at Jeyes Earls Barton for taking the time to chat with our members and making us feel so welcome 💙

We loved welcoming the team from SEND IASS North Northants to our Kettering centre recently 💙

They spent time having a look around, meeting our members, and finding out more about what we do across our three centres.

It was great to share what we’re all about and talk through the support we offer adults with autism and learning disabilities.

SEND IASS North Northants provide free, confidential and impartial advice and support on SEND matters across education, health and social care, and it was a pleasure to connect and strengthen links with such an important local service.

A BIG thank you the SEND IASS North Northants team for taking the time to visit 🫶

Meet our Teamwork Trust Apprentices - Zach, Bethany, Heidi and Ryn 👋

They play a vital role in supporting sessions, developing skills, and building confidence as they work towards their own goals in a supportive, inclusive environment.

Our apprenticeship programme offers hands-on experience, encouragement, and tailored support, opening a path into the health and social care sector.

We’re incredibly proud of everything they bring to Teamwork Trust 💙

We're really proud to have been the first day centre provision in Northamptonshire to take part in the Big Poo Campaign 💙

Our members were involved in an informative workshop delivered through brilliant collaborative working with CTPLD, the NHS, physio teams and cancer nurses.

The session focused on helping people with learning disabilities understand the signs and symptoms of bowel cancer, why it’s important to notice changes, and what to do if something doesn’t feel right.

The workshop was clear, accessible and engaging, and our members really enjoyed being the first group to take part.

A great example of partnership working to make a real difference to health awareness and wellbeing 🙌
