From Easter baking to furniture making - here's what the last few weeks have looked like! 💙

1) Members designed and made lots of their own amazing Easter decorations this year 🐣

2) There was lots of Easter baking too - James, Channie, Sophie and Tyler did a fab job.

3) Tyler also enjoys his weekly cooking sessions, and he's becoming more confident at preparing ingredients and helping at every stage.

4) Our reading group took part in a reading comprehension exercise, to understand what words mean 📚

5) In our My Enterprise sessions, Karolina helped test the sublimation capabilities on our t-shirts.

6) Robson was in his happy place putting together flat pack furniture. He took his time, followed the instructions, and took a step back if he needed to, to then go again 🛠️

7) There was fun and games in our Wellingborough centre, to develop our maths and English skills - Word Bingo, Tri-ominoes and Pairs!

8) Paul developed his independent living skills, working step-by-step to make his own coffee with sugar and milk.

9) We hosted a craft stall at Swansgate Shopping Centre in Wellingborough, and members were over the moon to receive an Easter egg each from Jo from the Veggie Patch Daylight Centre.

10) JP was extremely happy, getting to choose and buy a new hoover for our Kettering centre. Welcome to our little community, Henry! 👏

John supports young people to navigate one of the biggest transitions of their lives, into adulthood.

Then when it’s party time at our centres, he’s DJ John Boy and the Teamwork Trust dancefloor is his stage 🎶

Every party, every disco, every celebration - John’s the one reading the room, finding the track, and turning the volume up on whatever the occasion needs, making sure our members have the best time.

There is never a dull moment when John’s around 💙

An Easter party to remember with our members! 🐣🙌

Members from all three of our centres came together in Kettering for our Easter party - and the room was full of colour and laughter.

We had an Easter bonnet parade, Bingo Bongo, lunch and homemade cakes, a raffle, an Easter egg hunt, and themed quizzes and games.

However you’ve celebrated, we hope you’ve had a very happy Easter! 🫶

Saturday mornings don't get much better than this 💙

Our first Wellbeing Walk last weekend brought colleagues, friends, family and new faces together at Irchester Country Park for a bright, crisp, healthy start to the weekend.

Organised by our brilliant Judy, the walks are part of our Walk for Wheels campaign - our fundraising drive for a new electric minibus with wheelchair access for our members.

Three more walks are planned for June, September and December, and we'd love you to join us 🙌

Autism myth busting with our Corby members 💭

Today is World Autism Awareness Day and the start of Autism Acceptance Month.

And we asked our Corby members to bust some autism myths, from their lived experience 💙

Our My Enterprise programme gives our members the opportunity to gain real, hands-on experience in a working environment 💙

From designing and creating products to managing stock, fulfilling orders and working as part of a team… members develop practical, transferable skills that support their progression.

It’s more than just activity - it’s about building confidence, independence and a sense of purpose, while creating pathways towards volunteering and, where it’s their goal, paid employment.

Every product, every task and every achievement is part of that journey 🙌

The last couple of weeks 💙 There's never a dull moment with our members.

French Club on the interactive board, cinema trips, art galleries, garden projects and enterprise stalls - that’s just a small taste of what's been going on across our centres.

Our Corby members enjoyed a trip to the Savoy Corby Cinema to watch Hoppers, while others headed out into the community to visit a local art gallery.

There's also been great progress in our garden projects, including creating bird feeders using orange skins, lard, bird seed and mealworms.

Kettering members also enjoyed their annual meal out at the Telford Lodge Pub - a well-earned chance to relax and spend time together.

And a big well done to Kathy and Rea, who hosted our enterprise stall at Wellingborough Tesco👏

This is what chances, choices and opportunities looks like!

Our Wellingborough History Club headed to Northampton Museum and Art Gallery for a day of community-based learning 💙

The group explored 'Carboniferous Monsters' - a new temporary exhibition covering the creatures that roamed the earth 100 million years before the dinosaurs.

Safe to say, imaginations were well and truly captured!

And after the prehistoric deep-dive, the group made their way upstairs to the art gallery, where they were invited to choose their favourite piece on display (and their least favourite - equally important 😂).

At Teamwork Trust, our sessions follow our members' interests.

History Club is a perfect example - regular visits to local museums, galleries and historic sites, shaped by what our members actually want to explore.

A big thank you for having us, Northampton Museum & Art Gallery

Our Corby members love their weekly visits to O’Neills Cafe for Discover Craft 💙

Every Monday morning, the group comes together to get creative - from card making and flower arranging to bracelet making and diamond painting.

There’s always something new to try, and always something to take home and be proud of.

But it’s not just about the crafts. It’s about the friendships, the conversations and the sense of community.

Our members love spending time with the Discover Crafts team, the warm, welcoming staff at O’Neills, and the wider community who come along each week.

“The time goes too quick!” is something we hear a lot 😊

A huge thank you to the Discover Craft team and to everyone at O’Neills! 🫶

Our members take part in a wide range of high-quality sessions designed to build confidence, independence and real-life skills 💙

From creative arts and crafts to vocational training, enterprise activities, education, independent living skills and wellbeing sessions, every activity has a purpose.

Our programme is shaped around the interests, goals and abilities of our members, creating opportunities to develop skills that support a more independent future.

Because we’re a progression service, every session is a step in building the skills, confidence, and experience that help our members move towards achieving their own version of independence.

Our programme is shaped around the interests, goals and abilities of each member, so the journey looks different for everyone. But the direction is always the same 🙌

“I have met some great people and will miss them.” 🥹

Six months ago our member Norman walked into Myton Food Group in Rushden to start his work placement in the staff canteen.

Since then he has developed fantastic practical skills, grown in confidence and gained real workplace experience.

His positive attitude and willingness to learn have made him a real part of the team.

“I have loved going to the canteen. I have learnt new things and what it’s like working. I have met some great people and will miss them. They helped me a lot and always tried to help me if I wasn’t sure. I wish I could stay and work there.”

On his final day, Norman gave his colleagues a thank you card and gift, and he received a card and a free meal to celebrate his time there.

Opportunities like this make such a difference to our members, helping them build skills, confidence and experience for the future.

A huge thank you to Kim, Helen and Faye for the support they’ve given Norman throughout his placement 💙
