Kettering Mind We are Kettering Mind, your local mental health charity. We’ll listen, give you support and advice and fight your corner.

We believe no one should have to face a mental health problem alone, so we’re here for you whether you’re stressed, depressed or in crisis or just want some ideas about how to look after your mental health. We are a registered charity affiliated to National Mind who are dedicated to supporting and empowering anyone experiencing a mental health problem, through a wide variety of services.

This week is Talk Money Week, which aims to encourage you to be more open about money with your friends and family and help you get advice from experts if needed.

We get it, talking about money can feel a bit awkward. For some it’s embarrassing, for others a little scary.

But there are trickier chats in life than talking about money. Money chat is normal, and honestly, money talk rarely even makes the awkward list.

Follow the link below for advice and information regarding money, debt, budgeting, cost of living and much more!

Today is the start of New Ways November!

This month, we're encouraging you to try something new! Trying new things can improve your mental wellbeing by making you feel more optimistic and satisfied. You can also feel a sense of achievement when you work towards and meet your goals. Trying new things can also improve your emotional health by releasing dopamine, the feel-good chemical. This can help you feel rewarded and boost your confidence.
Lets all make an effort to try something new this month 💙

Outreach is an important part of what we do. Getting out into the community and reducing barriers to support is crucial in ensuring anyone experiencing a mental health problem is able to access support.

We recently attended a Change Grow Live event alongside other local organisations such as , S2S, Bridge, DWP, Rough Sleeper Team, Hepatitis C Team and Sexual Health. The purpose of the event was to raise awareness of all these different great services available in Kettering!

We are working alongside many different local organisations to reduce these barriers. From visiting local businesses supporting staff to hosting stalls at community events, we are there for you. 💙
