Snowdrop Home Care Ltd are looking to recruit enthusiastic, caring and reliable SENIOR CARE ASSISTANTS to join the team and work along side talented health care assistants, supportive administrative staff and senior management.
JOB RESPONSIBILITES: As well as having all the responsibilities of a care assistant, the senior care assistants will be allocated additional responsibilities within the community and also office based tasks too. Duties will be as followed (not exhaustive);
-Assisting with personal care of the clients.
-Mealtime preparations.
-Medication assistance + additional responsibilities of collecting and distributing.
-Assisting with the Rota systems and arranging cover for carer absences.
-Updating individual client care plans and other important documents.
-Paid On-Call responsibilities.
-Assisting the management team with new client assessments.
-Ensuring that the clients are receiving a high standard of care and that their individual care plans are met.
-As a senior member of staff, you will also be involved with the training and overseeing of newly employed care assistants within the community.
WORKING WEEK: Full time position split between the community and office base - reasonably flexible - 30+ hrs per week.

REQUIREMENTS:
*Driving licence and reliable transport with valid Insurance, Tax and Mot.
*NVQ 2/3 in Health and Social Care preferred (negotiable).
*Minimum of 2 years of caring experience.
