At Brook Court Care Home, community isn’t something we talk about — it’s something we actively nurture. This Easter, we were delighted to continue building our wonderful partnership with St Chad’s Church, a place that radiates kindness, connection, and genuine neighbourly spirit.

I popped down this morning to the lovely team at St Chad’s with a little Easter surprise — a basket filled with Cadbury treats to share with their volunteers.

The volunteers at St Chad’s give so much of themselves to support local families, children’s groups, and community outreach. Seeing them gathered together, full of joy and purpose, was a beautiful reminder of how powerful community can be when we lift each other up.

At Brook Court, we’re passionate about creating meaningful links that enrich the lives of our residents and strengthen the wider community.

Working alongside St Chad’s allows us to do just that — building bridges, sharing moments of joy, and celebrating the values we all hold dear.

🌼 Easter is just around the corner… and we’re already feeling the sweetness! 🐣✨

With the season of fresh starts and little moments of joy approaching, our treat table has taken a very egg‑stra special turn. From our indulgent Creme Egg brownies to the cutest spring‑themed muffins topped with creamy swirls and mini chocolate eggs, there’s no better way to welcome the Easter spirit into Brook Court.

Whether it’s sharing a treat with a loved one, enjoying a cuppa with friends, or simply taking in the festive atmosphere, we’re embracing every moment.

🌷 Here’s to a season filled with sweetness, smiles, and plenty of chocolate.

Our residents and the children worked beautifully together, and it was heart‑warming to see.

🌸☕️ Join us this FRIDAY 27th March at 2pm for our monthly dementia café 🌸☕️

Aimed at those living with dementia and their loved ones, you’ll have the opportunity to meet other people, share experiences, take part in our fun activities and get advice and support.

We will have complimentary refreshments on hand, including freshly baked cakes prepared by our Head Chef.

✨Staff Spotlight✨ This week, we’re shining a well‑deserved spotlight on our two dedicated NVQ Kitchen Assistants, Paige and Izzy who have recently completed their qualifications — and have already shown incredible skill, teamwork, and passion for what they do.

During Nutrition & Hydration Week, they worked brilliantly together to create a variety of tasty dishes and refreshing drinks that our residents absolutely loved. Their teamwork, creativity, and passion really shone through.
