Our Client Services Manager, Suzi, volunteers for the Alzheimer's Society as a Dementia Friends Ambassador.

This week, Suzi was invited to The Witney Model and Collectors Club to deliver a Dementia Friends Information Session for their members. The Club also invited friends from Witney Rotary Club and those in attendance spent the evening learning more about what it's like to live with dementia and the small everyday changes that can support people affected by the condition.

This International Women's Day, we have been celebrating the wonderful women who live and work at Lincroft Meadow and thinking about the International Women's Day 2026 theme, 'Give To Gain'.

The IWD 2026 Give To Gain Campaign encourages a mindset of generosity and collaboration.

Give To Gain emphasizes the power of reciprocity and support. When people, organizations, and communities give generously, opportunities and support for women increase. Giving is not a subtraction, it's intentional multiplication. When women thrive, we all rise.

Whether through donations, knowledge, resources, infrastructure, visibility, advocacy, education, training, mentoring, or time, contributing to women's advancement helps create a more supportive and interconnected world.

Many of our residents here at Lincroft Meadow really enjoy taking part in our regular Gym Club.

One of the most popular pieces of equipment is the exercise bike and those who participate say it's a great opportunity to give their legs and core muscles a great work out. It's also lots of fun 🚲

This week here at Lincroft Meadow we had a wonderful time raising money for Marie Curie UK.

The home was decorated with an abundance of beautiful daffodils, and our residents and visitors tucked into delicious themed cakes while enjoying a fabulous performance by Mae's Melodies.

Here at Lincroft Meadow, we celebrated International Chill Day on Friday with a Mexican-themed Supper Club in our lovely bistro.

Residents were treated to a delicious homemade chilli con carne (beef or veggie!) complete with guacamole, sour cream and tacos.

The evening was made complete by a glass of wine and fantastic company, of course! 🌶
