The surgery will be closed on Friday 3rd April and Monday 6th April.

This Easter bank holiday, GP practices will be closed on Friday 3 April 2026 and Monday 6 April 2026. Some community pharmacies will remain open during this period and can answer questions on choosing and using the right medicine and provide advice on treating everyday ailments. NHS 24 also has a number of pharmacists who are able to answer medicine and pharmacy-related questions over the telephone on 111.

Boots Main St pharmacy -

Due to staff shortages Boots in the Main St is operating with reduced hours on Tuesday and closing at lunch Wednesday & Thursday this week.

The shop will be closed between 12pm - 1pm for lunch each day & will be closing at 3.30pm today only (Tuesday).

Protected Learning Time - Thursday 26th February

The GP Practice will be closed for an afternoon on 26/02/26 to carry out staff training. During these times the Ayrshire Urgent Care Service will provide urgent care and support to patients of practices which are closed.

Patients or Community Pharmacies who require to contact a participating GP Practice urgently during the time they are closed for Protected Learning Time should call the Ayrshire Urgent Care Service on 01563 826930.

Please use the buzzer system if you have an appointment with any other services within the practice.

Main St pharmacy will have no pharmacist in the building this morning so unfortunately will be closed until after lunchtime.
