Back in the soap kitchen and the kettle isn’t the only thing bubbling… 💙✨

It’s been a wonderfully busy start to the week here at Surya Luna Naturals. I’ve been carefully packing up and posting out all your gorgeous website orders that came in over the weekend. There is something so special about wrapping each parcel, knowing it’s heading off to become part of your daily rituals.

But that’s not all… behind the scenes, I’ve been deep in formulation mode, working on some beautiful new products that will be launching over the next eight weeks. Think botanical goodness, skin-loving oils and a few surprises that I cannot wait to share with you. 🌿

Now… have a peek at the photograph below. Just look at that colour. That rich, inky blue is completely natural and comes from German chamomile essential oil. Its striking hue is thanks to chamazulene, a powerful compound known for its soothing properties.

German chamomile is wonderfully calming for the nervous system, but it is equally magical for the skin, especially if it’s feeling sensitive, reactive or in need of a little extra TLC. It’s one of my favourite oils to work with when I want to create something truly comforting.

So… what do you think this might be? A facial oil? A soothing serum? Something entirely new? 👀

What happens when you mix curious minds, beautiful botanicals, and a table full of bottles that smell like a summer garden? Pure skincare magic. ✨🌿

A HUGE thank you to the wonderful ladies who joined me today at Surya Luna Naturals for our Introduction to Natural Skincare workshop. We had an absolute ball diving into the world of plant based carrier oils, essential oils, and delicate floral hydrosols.

There was blending, pouring, plenty of laughter, and a whole lot of “oooh let me smell that!” as we created our own gorgeous facial products from scratch. Oil cleansers silky enough to melt the day away, balancing toners, glow boosting serums, and even a soothing eye gel. Watching everyone’s confidence grow as they discovered how powerful plants can be for the skin is exactly why I love doing these sessions.

It was such a joy to chat about all things natural skincare and share the knowledge that helps you feel empowered about what you’re putting on your skin. Thank you again to each and every one of you for making it such a special afternoon. 💚

✨ Something a little bit magical is happening at Surya Luna HQ… ✨

Today has been a whirl of bottles, botanicals and beautiful aromas as I get everything ready for my very first Introduction to Natural Skincare workshop, happening tomorrow right here in Ayrshire.

The oils are lined up like eager students. The hydrosols are waiting patiently. The essential oils are already performing their aromatic symphony across the room 🌿

I cannot wait to welcome my very first group of participants and spend the afternoon chatting about all things natural oils, essential oils, and the quiet power of plants. Together we will be learning how to create cleansers, toners, facial serums and even a soothing eye gel, all crafted with intention and beautiful ingredients straight from nature’s apothecary.

There is something very special about understanding what goes into your skincare and realising you can create it yourself. It feels empowering, grounding and just a little bit alchemical.

Here’s to plant power, glowing skin and a room full of curious minds, I am ready for you! 🌙 xXx

Surya Luna Naturals has officially entered its plushie era.

Yes, I have jumped on the latest craze and created a tiny, soft, slightly soap-dusted version of myself. She’s got the apron, the herbs, the essential oils… and I’m fairly certain she smells faintly of lavender and good intentions. What do we think? Should she get her own stall at the next market? 😂

While Mini Me is supervising the soap kitchen, the real excitement is happening over on the website…

I am absolutely blown away by how many of you have been asking about the new Organic Magnesium Cream already. The excitement is real and I cannot wait to finally launch it tomorrow at 9am on the website.

👃✨ If you could smell the soap kitchen today… you’d be very intrigued. ✨👃

It’s been a day of final testing in the Surya Luna Naturals soap kitchen for some brand new products that will be launching later this year, and I have to say… the aromas are absolutely dreamy 🌿🫧

The recipes are being fine-tuned, the last checks are underway, and the whole space smells so good it’s taking serious willpower not to spill the secret just yet.

Any guesses what these new products might be? I’m all ears 👀💬 xXx

A little behind-the-scenes update from Surya Luna Naturals 🌙

Things were a bit fraught here over the weekend as my wee grandson Arran was very poorly and ended up in hospital for a couple of days. I’m incredibly relieved and grateful to say that he’s now on the mend and back home again, much to everyone’s relief. Arran and his mum and dad are now catching up on some very well-deserved sleep after a worrying few days.

Today it’s been back into the soap kitchen for me, and it’s been a busy one, putting some arrangements in place for later this week. I’ll be sharing more about that tomorrow. My lovely product testers should also be receiving samples of some beautiful new Surya Luna goodies over the next couple of days, and some of you may already have them.

A weekend of worry, followed by a week full of gentle momentum ✨xXx

A huge thank you to every single person who stopped by my stall at the Vegan Festival at the Lagoon Centre in Paisley. It was genuinely lovely to meet you all, chat about all things skincare, and hear your stories and skin concerns. These conversations are my favourite part of what I do 💚

And wow… your reaction to the new organic magnesium cream absolutely blew me away. I’m officially sold out! Thank you so much for the love. I’ll be back in the soap kitchen making more, and I’ll be sharing updates later this week once I have stocks ready to properly launch it!

✨ Market lovers, this one’s for you ✨

This weekend marks a little milestone for Surya Luna Naturals as I head to my very first market of 2026 and it’s a lovely local one too 💚

You’ll find me this Saturday at the Lagoon Centre in Paisley for the Scottish Vegan Festival. Expect a buzzing space filled with everything vegan, from delicious plant-based treats and conscious fashion to skincare, home fragrance, and stalls brimming with inspiration and information about vegan living 🌱

I’ll be there with all your Surya Luna favourites, ready for a browse, a chat, and a bit of botanical indulgence. I’d absolutely love to see some familiar faces and meet new ones too.
