Ringdufferin Nursing Home is looking for a friendly, reliable Kitchen Assistant to join our warm and supportive team. This is a role where you’ll make a real difference every day — helping us create nutritious, homely meals that brighten our residents’ day.

We have various opportunities available, and we’re looking for someone who enjoys working in a busy kitchen, takes pride in their work, and brings a positive, can‑do attitude.

We kept active with some hula hoop exercises, had lots of laughs with ping pong ball challenges, and enjoyed a relaxing walk. Finished it all off by sitting in the sunshine and soaking up the good vibes. 🌼

Ringdufferin Nursing Home is seeking a dedicated Chef/Cook to join our warm, resident focused team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in creating nutritious, home cooked meals that bring comfort and joy to older adults.

What You’ll Do
• Prepare and serve high quality, well balanced meals for our residents
• Cater for a range of dietary needs with care and attention
• Maintain excellent food hygiene and kitchen safety standards
• Work collaboratively with our friendly care and hospitality teams
• Contribute to a positive, homely atmosphere for residents and families

What We Offer
• A permanent, full time role with stable daytime hours (08:00–17:30)
• Supportive team environment in a beautiful countryside setting
• The chance to make a meaningful difference every day

About You
• 2 years experience in a care home, catering, or hospitality environment
• NVQ Level 3
• Passionate about good food and resident wellbeing
• Reliable, organised, and able to work independently

This afternoon we had a wonderful Silver Circle Club with the ladies 🌸

We enjoyed a lively game of Spring Bingo filled with lots of laughter, fun, and great company. Everyone was a winner, taking home lovely prizes including perfumes, hand creams, shower gels, and of course, plenty of chocolate! 🍫

Ringdufferin Nursing Home is a 64 bedded residential care facility, with each room incorporating an ensuite and shower. Our location affords easy access from Belfast and the surrounding area while still retaining the characteristics of its idyllic country setting.

Our experienced team focuses on providing the highest standards of nursing and medical care to our residents. We believe in high quality care delivered by dedicated and compassionate professionals to ensure that each resident enjoys a fulfilling journey.
