Some psychics give a time limit for their readings, say 20 minutes. But this can often leave you feeling like your message is cut off, or unfinished. As I have said, it is spirit who controls the messages, not the medium. So if a medium sticks rigidly to a time limit, quite often they are stopping spirit communication in the middle of important messages.

When you book a reading from me, I allow spirit to control the length of the reading. This means the time will vary from reading to reading. Usually they last a minimum of 20 minutes, but on occasion they can be up to an hour. I do not charge any extra for this. When you book with me, you understand that you are paying for a reading from a medium, and that the medium is working for spirit. I will work with sprit until they have delivered their messages and draw back their energy, I will never cut them off.

If I book a reading with you, will you be able to connect with 'x?' This is a question I get asked often.

In my experience, you can't control which spirits come through during a reading. Spiritual messages are controlled by spirit and as a medium, it is my job to relay these messages as accurately as possible. Generally I find the people you want to hear from often come through but it really is up to spirit. I would be cautious of anyone promising you a connection with any particular spirit.

There's lots of reasons spirit may or may not come through. It can be to do with where they are on their journey (might be too new, too much energy draw, they might still be learning), or it might be that it's not the right thing for you at that time, or that another message is more important. ✨️

It really is a 'who shouts loudest' kind of thing. There is also the issue of those who were quiet in life tend to be quieter in spirit. Not always, but often this means it is harder to get messages from these people. But that doesn't mean they aren't there for us, guiding and loving us from the other side.

Have you ever wondered if you could communicate with spirit?

Becoming a medium is a long and difficult journey, and generally you have to have a heightened natural ability, but that doesn't mean you cannot communicate.

The first step is to listen. Really listen. And don't rationalise. Our brains are conditioned from a young age to rationalise our experiences. This prevents us from interpreting and believing what we hear. But you can get better at listening with practice.

📝 Try this: Make sure you have a pen and paper to hand, and spend some time meditating, praying or relaxing peacefully before bed. Whichever you prefer. Near the end of this time, ask a question to spirit. You may be asking for advice or guidance, or you may just be asking for a message of comfort.

You may hear the reply straight away. Do not be alarmed. Be comforted that you have managed to form a communication.

If you do not, don't worry. Go to sleep. You will most likely wake up with your answer.

Either way... Don't rationalise. Accept what you hear and write it down. You can then take the time to process your message.
