Myofascial Release - the missing link ✨
Last week I went for further training in Myofascial Release and experienced the treatment myself.
I noticed physical changes in my body, but I also experienced an emotional release — something I wasn’t expecting, and something that made me truly understand how powerful this work can be.
Myofascial Release isn’t just about easing tight muscles.
It works on the fascia — the connective tissue that surrounds every muscle, organ and nerve, and is closely linked to the nervous system.
When fascia becomes tight or “stuck” it can:
• restrict blood & lymph flow
• cause aches and tension
• create heaviness or puffiness
• leave areas feeling restricted or disconnected
Through gentle, sustained pressure, the body is encouraged to relax and release. As this happens, tension, emotion and stored stress can begin to soften and move.
Myofascial Release also works beautifully alongside lymphatic drainage and massage.
By softening the fascia first, it allows better fluid movement, deeper release, and longer-lasting results from your treatment.
This treatment may be for you if you:
