Scottish Asian Counselling Services is offering a free community workshop for over-50s focused on rebuilding self-esteem and overcoming loneliness.
The session will provide CBT-informed tools to support wellbeing, confidence and meaningful connection in a safe and supportive environment.

If you’ve been feeling low, anxious, stuck, or overwhelmed, you don’t have to manage it on your own 💕

I offer one-to-one Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) in a calm, supportive, confidential space where we can make sense of what’s been challenging for you and work towards meaningful change at your pace.

I can help with:
• Anxiety, worry and stress
• Panic attacks and panic disorder
• Depression and low mood
• OCD and intrusive thoughts
• Phobias and fears
• Low self-esteem and self-criticism
• Grief, loss and life changes

Taking the first step can feel hard, which is why I offer a free initial consultation. This is a chance to talk things through and see if CBT with me feels right for you.

I offer in person support to anyone in Kilmarnock and surrounding areas, and I also offer online support UK wide.

This year has been a challenge for me too. Not in a dramatic, headline way, just in the quiet, human way that life sometimes is.

As therapists, we’re still people. We still have hard days, self-doubt, relationship breakdowns, grief, stress, and moments where simply getting through is the achievement.

And that’s okay.

CBT doesn’t teach us to “be positive” or to pretend things haven’t been hard. It teaches us to notice, to respond with compassion, and to recognise resilience (even when survival is all we’ve managed).

So if all you did this year was keep going, that is enough. I'm proud of you. You don’t need to justify it. You don’t need to compare it. You survived and that matters ❤️
