We see so many fights these days outside night clubs, on nights out and in the streets
it’s become normalised.
Filmed.
Laughed at.
Brushed off like it’s nothing.
But people forget how fragile life actually is.

All it takes is one hit.
One wrong punch.
One bad fall.
And suddenly that’s two lives changed forever
the person who never gets back up,
and the person who has to live with what they’ve done.

1 hit. 2 lives.

That’s exactly why Safe Killie is here to protect lives, prevent escalation, and help make sure everyone gets home safe.

No argument, no ego, no moment of anger is worth a lifetime of regret.

👉 Think before you act. Walk away. Get home safe.

🩵 SAFE KILLIE WINTER SAFETY 🩵
Just a reminder to take extra care at this time of year.
With colder temperatures, ice can build up on roads, pavements, and walkways, even when it’s not always visible.
Please:
❄️ Take your time when walking
❄️ Wear suitable footwear
❄️ Be cautious on untreated pavements
❄️ Slow down when driving
❄️ Look out for others who may be more vulnerable

A small reminder can prevent a serious injury.Let’s keep each other safe this winter 💙

We’ve just reached 1,000 followers on Facebook, and we want to say a massive thank you.

This support isn’t just numbers on a screen,it’s the conversations in the streets, the people who stop to chat, the ones who share our posts, show up, check in, and stand beside us in real life.

Safe Killie is built on community, and we couldn’t do what we do without every single one of you online and offline.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for walking with us 💛

🩵 SAFE KILLIE | NALOXONE AWARENESS 🩵
Naloxone saves lives.
Naloxone is a medication that can reverse an opioid overdose and buy time until emergency help arrives.
It’s:

✔️ Safe
✔️ Easy to use
✔️ Non-addictive
✔️ Free from many services

You don’t need medical training to use naloxone anyone can carry it.
Carrying naloxone doesn’t mean you expect an overdose. It means you’re prepared to help someone if the worst happens.
If you think someone is overdosing:

1️⃣ Call emergency services
2️⃣ Give naloxone
3️⃣ Stay with them until help arrives

Naloxone won’t harm someone if opioids aren’t present it’s always better to use it than not.

Our teams at Safekillie will be out tonight on foot patrols alongside our partners at Police Scotland Ayshire assisting each other along with our colleagues at Scottish Ambulance Service & Scottish Fire & Rescue Service.

While we look forward to welcoming the New Year and celebrating with everyone, our priority is making sure people stay safe and well throughout the night.

Please celebrate responsibly, look out for one another, and don’t hesitate to speak to our teams if you need help. 💙🚑👮‍♂️🔥
