❓Did you know there are 4 levels of questions, Blank’s questions? ❓

Understanding of level 1 questions tends to be the earliest to develop. Level 4 understanding is the latest to develop.

Have a think about what level your wee one is at, and try to make sure your questions aren’t too challenging for them. We’ve put some helpful tips here for you too!

When we speak to wee ones, it can be easy to take the lead by asking lots of questions. ❔❓

It’s helpful for us to make more comments when we speak. This lets children hear us using words and helps them learn new words.

The best way to remember – for every question you ask, try to follow this with 2 comments on your next turn to speak!
