The family of the late Priscilla O’Connor R.I.P. would like to acknowledge the many expressions of sympathy shown to us following our recent bereavement.
We offer our heartfelt thanks to the many families, friends, neighbours and well-wishers who visited her home, sent mass cards, sympathy cards, left food, sent messages, or letters or who helped in any way. With extended gratitude to any and all who personally attended the Funeral Mass, their time and empathy was deeply felt and appreciated.
A special thanks to Fr Luke McWilliams who provided spiritual support to both Priscilla, and to her family, in his tribute to her in his homily, eulogy and in his organisation of the Mass.
We thank the staff of Rasharkin Health Centre, McCloy’s Chemist, Kilrea, the hard working staff of Causeway Hospital, Coleraine, the team of nurses that visited and personally attended to her health needs, and through their efforts she was able to celebrate her 93rd birthday.
We extend our gratitude to Dempsey Funeral Directors for their unerring professional manner, skill and support during both the wake and Funeral Mass. Your kindness and empathy meant a great deal to us all.
A particular thanks to the Brennan and Mooney families who provided a car park and taxi service to ferry wake goers to and from the house, with particular recognition for anyone who dedicated their time and effort to transporting people up and down the lane or parking cars.
We are sincerely thankful to Wishy Drain who prepared Priscilla’s resting place, the musicians, who performed beautifully during the Mass, to Henry Quinn for his liturgical care as Sacristan, and to Arbutus Catering Company for their refreshments after the funeral.
Please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our deepest appreciation to all.
Priscilla’s month mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 28th March at 6.30 in St Marys Church, Rasharkin.
