The entire family circle of Kathleen Cartin (nรฉe Lagan) wish to express their deep gratitude to and their appreciation of everyone who sympathised with them on their recent bereavement.
To all those who visited the funeral home to express their condolences and those who attended Kathleenโs Requiem Mass, especially those who travelled a long distance, your presence was very much appreciated.
Our heartfelt gratitude to Father Neil Farren P.P. for his numerous visits with Kathleen in the nursing home, for administering The Last Rites to Kathleen on the Sunday prior to her passing and for celebrating Kathleenโs Requiem Mass, his spiritual guidance and pastoral care was very much appreciated by our family.
Sincere appreciation is extended to each individual who prepared for and participated during Kathleenโs Requiem Mass. Aidan for preparing Kathleenโs final resting place, Eddie our Sacristan and Margaret, Organist, Pauline Mullan and the Church of Our Lady of The Assumption Choir, Anthony, John, Joe, Cecelia, Margaret and Maura, whose spiritual and consoling music and singing enriched Kathleenโs Requiem Mass beautifully, Mary McNicholl for the exquisitely arranged flowers in the chapel and the beautiful floral tribute for Kathleenโs grave. The Eucharistic Ministers, Margaret and Maura. Kathleenโs family members, who carried the Symbols, read the Readings, read the Prayers of Intercession, sang with the choir and those who carried Kathleenโs coffin from the chapel doors and to her final resting place.
Thank you to all our relatives, friends and neighbours, who gave Mass Cards, Sympathy Cards and Letters, left Messages on Social Media, Telephoned, Sent Flowers, made Donations in lieu of Flowers, those who visited us in our homes and those who prayed for us, in our time of sorrow.
Thank you to all the professional caring and compassionate people who looked after Kathleen during her dementia journey, in her own home, health centres, hospitals, and the various nursing homes. With special appreciation to those attentive and respectful persons who cared for Kathleen in the days and hours prior to her peaceful passing.
Thank you to St. Maryโs Hall Committee for the use of the hall.
Thank you to Barry and Geraldine Dallat, Arbutus Catering, for the delicious bountiful food, cordially served by their very professional and courteous staff.
Our deepest and most sincere gratitude to Dempsey Funeral Directors, to Mairead to Brian, to Siobhan and all their family members and staff who selflessly gave of their time and expertise to ensure every aspect of Kathleenโs funeral was sensitively and professionally arranged and carried out in a very dignified and respectful manner.
The Holy Sacrifice of The Mass will be offered for all your intentions.
Kathleenโs Monthโs Mind Mass will be on Sunday 9th November at 9.45 a.m. In The Church of Our Lady of The Assumption, Aghadowey.
