This Easter bank holiday, GP practices will be closed on Friday 3 April 2026 and Monday 6 April 2026. Some community pharmacies will remain open during this period and can answer questions on choosing and using the right medicine and provide advice on treating everyday ailments. NHS 24 also has a number of pharmacists who are able to answer medicine and pharmacy-related questions over the telephone on 111.

In Scotland, all young people are offered the MenACWY vaccine in secondary school (S3).

If you’re under 25 and haven’t had it yet, there’s still time.

Contact your local immunisation team to book your appointment: http://nhsinform.scot/gettingvaccinations

Remember, the MenACWY vaccine protects against some types of meningitis, but not all, so it’s still important to know the signs and symptoms.

In just over 4 weeks, some of our fantastic team members are participating in the Glasgow Kiltwalk to raise funds for ‘Ayrshire Cancer Support’. This is a charity not only close to some of our personal hearts ♥️ but also to those of our patients and carers/family past and present for which we are truly grateful 😌
