Miniature Donkeys for Therapy and Fun

We have today started our journey of getting the donkeys registered as a charity
This has been a two year challenge for me
We have along way to go however at last I can see light at the end of the tunnel .
Still have to work hard to get this status
With
Walks Events .visits sales and generally getting known . All this has to be done to guarantee our donkeys will always be cared for for the rest of their life .
Hopefully then we can apply for funding like everyone else gets .At the moment myself . Volunteers and the donkeys are having to try our hardest to keep them well cared for .
So we always looking for fundraising ideas
We have to prove to the charity commission this is a viable cause . Once you meet these characters you will just fall in love with them

Sunday with the donkeys
A interview and walk out with the journalists and the donkeys .
Then a Birthday walk with a family that loved it not our normal walk as the track is far too muddy for the donkeys at the moment
Sarah was very kind to help me today
Then a nice time with the animals chilling out

Our lovely little donkeys are back for sale £8 plus postage
These donkeys the sales go towards the bale of hay .

We will also have them at our Easter fete at Harpley Village Hall on Easter saturday
Come along meet the donkeys
Bring your Easter bonnet or make one and put on the donkeys .Last year it was amazing fun

Friday was wet and gloomy however chocky and lulu had an exciting afternoon heading off to Downham for Jesse 100th Birthday celebrations at Diamond House Care home

We would like to thank all the people that have donated to the donkeys
With your kind donations we have made the fields safer place for the donkeys and volunteers and visitors
Last year was awful and so dangerous
We have now replaced mats in the stables .got outside matting and astro turf and this week josh has fitted this down and the donkeys love it Hoping to have everything finished this week
We could not have done this without you.
Also this week our charity application will be going in and we hope tbis goes through
This will hopefully make sure the donkeys will be safe secure for life.
I have worked so hard past 15 years to give donkeys a good safe cared for life
I want this to proceed for them to live happy

We now have our little soft donkeys for sale
First two ready to post in the morning
This donkeys help us to be able to keep the donkeys .
This has been very difficult this year with bad weather so lots of extra feed .hay and straw and lots more bales of sawdust
Then we have had vets . Teeth filed and farrier
So every donkey helps towards all bale of hay in these difficult times.
