Violet and Neave were all smiles last week as they enjoyed some gentle afternoon scratches with one of our wonderful, gentle ponies 🐴💛

The girls join us every week for our Pony Club sessions, building confidence, friendships, and special bonds with our ponies along the way.

We love seeing moments like this, calm, happy, and full of connection 🌿

Exciting developments at The Magpie Centre!

Our indoor school is being resurfaced over the next two weeks, a major investment, but an essential step as we continue to grow and improve our facilities.

A huge thank you to AB Equestrian Fencing & Groundwork Ltd for taking on this important project 👏

The indoor school plays such a vital role in everything we do, from riding and Equine Therapy sessions to training and events, including our annual craft fair. It also provides invaluable shelter during the colder months.

We’re incredibly excited to see the transformation and can’t wait to share the finished result with you all!

One of our fabulous Summer Raffle prize winners, Owen, recently took to the skies thanks to a generous flight experience donated by Gordon Clouting of Boughton Airfield ✈️

Owen said he had an absolute ball and thoroughly enjoyed every moment of the experience , what an unforgettable adventure!

Updates from our Equine Assisted Therapy Team

Gratitude….

Last week in sessions, we pointed out things and people we are grateful to have in our lives along side the horses. Horses have the ability to help us process feelings and it is sometimes important to recognise the good feelings most of all.

One of our therapy horses taking a nap after their breakfast, this definitely looks like a grateful face.

A productive morning at Magpie 🐴🌱

Suzanne, Sheila and Scilla spent the day raking up old hay from around where the boxes used to sit, starting to get everything tidied up for spring. There’s still plenty to do, but we’ve made a good start!

Next up: preparing the paddocks for w**d spraying over the coming weeks 🌿
