❤️ Remembrance Day at Goodwins Hall ❤️

On Tuesday 11th November, our residents came together to honour and remember all those who served and sacrificed for our freedom. 🇬🇧🌹

Our resident Harold prepared his own heartfelt reading especially for the occasion, which he proudly shared with everyone. His chosen rhythm played softly in the background as residents listened in reflection, a truly moving moment. 🎖️🎵

Afterwards, many shared their own personal memories and experiences from that time, filling the room with stories of bravery, love and hope. ❤️

We will always remember.

Our residents have been getting creative this week during their drama therapy session with Ben, as they prepare for a special Christmas show! 🌟

They’re bringing to life the local folklore tale of Tom Hickathrift, a legendary hero from King’s Lynn and Wisbech.

The energy, laughter, and teamwork in the room have been wonderful to see — we can’t wait to share the final performance with everyone this festive season! 🎅✨

A warm welcome to Alwin Jaimson, who has joined us at Goodwins Hall Care Home for his Work Experience Placement! 👋

Alwin is studying Health and Social Care at the College of West Anglia in King’s Lynn and will be part of our home until 23rd February 2026. He’ll be working closely with our wonderful Lifestyles Team, learning how to plan fun and meaningful activities for our residents and gaining hands-on experience in the care sector.

We’re proud to support young people who are passionate about caring for others and to work in partnership with local colleges to help them grow and learn. 💫
