We’re pleased to confirm the appointment of Bell Building Projects Ltd as Principal Contractor for the construction phase of the fire remediation works at Spring Street, Hull, with Wainwrights acting as Contract Administrator.

The scheme will involve the full removal and replacement of the existing cladding with new A1/A2 fire-rated systems, improving safety and ensuring the building complies with current standards. Works will also include faΓ§ade upgrades and the careful removal and reinstatement of external services.

Spring Street comprises 72 occupied apartments, and throughout the works our focus will remain on resident safety, clear communication and minimising disruption. This project reflects our continued commitment to leading complex remediation schemes that put people, safety and compliance first.

Following an excellent 2025, the team at Pure Block Management are proud to be building on a hugely successful first year operating in York & North Yorkshire, having secured close to 30 new management contracts across the region.

Since opening our York office in late 2024, we're now managing over 1,000 residential units across York & North Yorkshire, supporting developments of all sizes – from large-scale estates to smaller pocket developments in locations including York, Harrogate, Wetherby and Whitby. The continued demand reflects our local presence, clear communication, and focus on compliance and service standards.

What a year 2025 has been for the Pure Block Management team!

We've delivered meaningful projects, supported our residents, and worked closely with our fantastic contractors and partners across every development we manage. None of this would have been possible without our dedicated team.

Here are just a few of our highlights this year:

🏒 Marked the first anniversary of our new York office, a key milestone in our continued growth.

🀝 Welcomed four brilliant new team members β€” Laura (Associate Director), George (Compliance Manager), Jasmine (Property Management Apprentice), and Sam (Accounts Assistant).

πŸ™οΈ Took on 14 new properties managed from our York office and another three blocks managed from our Hull office, further strengthening our regional presence.

πŸ—οΈ Managed four cladding remediation projects, with onsite works now underway on two of them.

πŸ“š Invested in team training and professional development, strengthening our collective expertise.

πŸ“† Attended the Oxford Weekender, the TPI Annual Conference in London, and the News on the Block Leaseholder Roadshow in Birmingham.
