HASP are very proud to be supporting Mission Christmas Cash4Kids again this year.

All of our practices are taking part and will be accepting donations from Monday 17th November.

If you'd like to be involved, please donate a gift for children aged 0-18 into one of our surgery's reception desks.

We made a big difference last year and collected hundreds of gifts so children in poverty can wake up with a gift on Christmas morning.

**All gifts must be new and in packaging or with tags and not gift wrapped**

"Dr cook was outstanding. I had suffered from severe depression and contemplated su***de he listened to my problems and gave me great advice and was very helpful and followed up with a further appointment. I cannot rate Dr Cook enough it’s a pity he isn’t on the permanent staff at the surgery."

SAD is sometimes known as "winter depression" because the symptoms are usually more apparent and more severe during the winter.

Symptoms of SAD can include:

A persistent low mood
A loss of pleasure or interest in normal everyday activities

Feelings of despair, guilt and worthlessness
Feeling lethargic (lacking in energy) and sleepy during the day
Sleeping for longer than normal and finding it hard to get up in the morning

Charlotte was very understanding and reassuring following my previous referral, she explained the next steps of my care plan and asked if i had any concerns and put me at ease throughout my consultation. She explained the next steps and potential consequences to potential surgery, ensuring i fully understood what was been said. I felt at ease and reassured throughout.

Thankyou for your feedback.
