With over 200 Client Reviews, you are in safe hands. Fully Qualified and Insured Holistic Massage Therapist, Reflexologist and Reiki Practitioner (exclusively ladies only)

I offer a bespoke private ground floor treatment room in Thorngumbald away from the hustle of the high street with ample free parking right outside the door and a warm welcome. I know how important it is to find a bit of 'me' time in everyday life and I pride myself on creating a beautiful space where you can fully disconnect, relax, be yourself, feel safe and at ease on my comfortable fully electric couch. With a heated blanket in the cooler months and air conditioning in the summer, with the soft glows of the himalayan salt lamps, soothing music and soft coloured lighting, I provide a haven of peace and tranquillity. You may be interested in booking a treatment but then the negative and anxious thoughts start to flow and kick in, it may go something a little like this...

👎 I'm self conscious
👎 I'm nervous / anxious
👎 What if I don't like it
👎 I've never had a treatment before
👎 I don't have the time

Let's look at it a different way ...

I'm self conscious ➡️ seriously, there is really no need to be. We all have bits that we don't feel comfortable or happy with. There is no judgment with me, I see beyond this and I honestly, really don't care. I wobble, I have stubbly legs, I have cellulite and stretch marks, I also have dimmed lighting and lots of towels for draping! I'm nervous/anxious ➡️ you probably will be, there really is no need though. New things are naturally daunting but after the 1st time they aren't new and as scary anymore! You are more than welcome to visit me and my treatment room before you book you treatment to put your mind at ease. What if I don't like it ➡️ if you don't like it then you don't like it but at least you tried something new. Maybe another treatment is more suitable for you but this will be explored in your friendly consultation. I've never had a treatment before ➡️ what are you waiting for?! Self Care has to start somewhere, so why not now? 😌

I don't have the time ➡️ even more reason to make the time before you burnout. You need to take care of yourself before you can look after others. Thrive - not survive! Karine

Hi new followers and existing followers...

🌸 Let’s Talk About Self-Care & Those Little Voices 🌸

So, you’ve liked or followed Crown to Sole Ltd — thank you! 💛

Maybe you’ve thought about booking a wellness treatment… but then those little voices start to creep in:

👎 I’m self-conscious
👎 I’m nervous or anxious
👎 What if I don’t like it?
👎 I’ve never had a treatment before
👎 I don’t have time

Sound familiar? Let’s look at it another way 👇

💫 I’m self-conscious
Honestly, there’s no need to be. We all have bits we don’t love — wobbly bits, stretch marks, stubbly legs — me included! There’s no judgment here. I see beyond all that. My space is warm, private, and designed for you to feel safe and comfortable.
💫 I’m nervous or anxious
Totally normal! New things can be daunting, but once you’ve tried it, it’s not new anymore. You’re even welcome to visit the treatment room first, just to put your mind at ease.
💫 What if I don’t like it?
That’s okay too. At least you tried something new for yourself — that’s already a win! During your consultation, we’ll chat and find what truly suits you.
💫 I’ve never had a treatment before
Then now’s the perfect time to start! 🌿
Self-care has to begin somewhere — and you absolutely deserve to feel good.
💫 I don’t have time
That’s often the biggest sign you need this. Before burnout hits, take time for yourself. You can’t pour from an empty cup.
Self-care isn’t selfish — it’s essential.
You deserve to thrive, not just survive 💛✨

Hello new Followers...

🌿 A Little About Me 🌿
Hello, I’m Karine 💜
Before becoming a Holistic Massage Therapist, Reflexologist, and Reiki Practitioner, I worked in Health and Social Care for 25 years. I was a workaholic — driving up and down the country, always on call, constantly logged into work emails the moment I got home. Life and work had no balance, and I knew something had to change before I completely burnt out.
That’s when I discovered the transformative power of touch, relaxation, and gentle therapies — not just for clients, but for myself. 🌸
I truly believe in creating a calm, nurturing space where women can switch off, feel safe, and take time just for themselves. Life can feel busy, stressful, and overwhelming — and I love being able to offer a sanctuary to reset.
For me, this isn’t just a job — it’s my passion. Seeing someone walk in tense, tired, or stressed, and leave feeling lighter, calmer, and more like themselves again, is the most rewarding feeling. ✨
Every woman deserves a soft place to land and a moment to recharge — and I feel honoured to provide that in my cosy treatment room in Thorngumbald. 💆‍♀️

💜 Thank you for letting me do what I love every day.

I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you — truly — for your continued trust and support. It means so much to me, and I’m incredibly grateful to be part of your self-care journey.

The start of a new year is a gentle opportunity to pause, reset, and care for yourself from the inside out, especially after the busyness of life and the festive season. I hope 2026 brings you health, calm, and moments just for you.

Thank you again for choosing me and for allowing me to support your wellbeing. I’m really looking forward to welcoming you back in 2026, Karine ###

🌿 Essential Oils for Stress, Sleep & Energy

One of the beautiful things about essential oils is how they can support us exactly where we need it most. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, struggling to sleep, or running on empty—there’s an oil that can help.

✨ For Stress & Anxiety Relief
These oils are known for calming the nervous system and helping the body relax:
• Lavender – Soothing, grounding, and great for calming racing thoughts
• Bergamot – Uplifting yet calming, perfect for emotional balance
• Frankincense – Deeply grounding and supportive during stress or overwhelm
• Ylang Ylang – Helps ease tension and promotes emotional harmony

✨ For Better Sleep & Relaxation
These oils encourage rest, calm the mind, and prepare the body for deep sleep:
• Lavender – A go-to for falling asleep faster and sleeping deeper
• Roman Chamomile – Gentle, calming, and great for restlessness
• Cedarwood – Grounding and comforting, ideal for nighttime routines
• Clary Sage – Helps quiet the mind and relax the body

✨ For Energy & Focus
When you need a natural boost (without the caffeine crash!):
• Peppermint – Refreshing, invigorating, and great for mental clarity
• Lemon – Bright, uplifting, and mood-boosting
• Eucalyptus – Helps open the airways and clear mental fog
• Rosemary – Supports focus, memory, and alertness

🌿 Aromatherapy: How It Really Works 🌿

Ladies, let’s talk about aromatherapy! If you’ve ever wondered how essential oils actually work in the body, here’s a simple breakdown to help you understand the magic behind those little bottles.

✨ Aromatherapy + Your Body = A Powerful Connection
Aromatherapy works by using essential oils to stimulate both your sense of smell and your skin. This triggers reactions in the limbic system—the part of your brain that influences emotions, memory, hormones, and even heart rate.

💨 How Inhalation Works
When you breathe in essential oils:
• Your brain gets activated: Odor molecules travel through the olfactory system and send signals straight to the limbic system.
• Your emotional center responds: This area of the brain controls emotions, memories, hormones, heart rate, and blood pressure.
• Your body reacts: Depending on the oil, you may feel calmer, more energized, less stressed, or even notice changes in breathing or heart rate.

✨ How Skin Absorption Works
When essential oils are applied to your skin (always diluted with a carrier oil!):
• They pe*****te the skin: Essential oil molecules are tiny, allowing them to pass through the outer layers of the skin.
• They enter the bloodstream: Once they reach the dermis, these molecules can enter your blood vessels.
• They circulate through the body: From there, they travel to different body systems—and some can even cross into the brain.

🌸 The takeaway: Whether you inhale them or apply them topically, essential oils can influence your body in real, meaningful ways. That’s why aromatherapy can be such a powerful tool for relaxation, mood support, and overall wellness.

If you’d love a post on which oils are best for stress, sleep, or energy—just let me know! 💕
