Meet Chloe, Pete and Stanley — the husband-and-wife team (and their furry sidekick!) behind Sirius Homecare, a proud local family-run business with one clear purpose: to do care differently.

Founded in 2020, right at the start of the pandemic, Sirius began with just a dream — and a shared belief that care should always be delivered with dignity, compassion and reliability. From remortgaging their home to get started, Chloe and Pete have built a trusted care company that now supports over 120 vulnerable people across Hull and East Riding, with a team of 70 amazing staff.

At Sirius, we believe outstanding care starts with outstanding people. That’s why we hugely value and respect our team — offering market-leading pay rates, private medical insurance, wellbeing support (including a menopause group and office dog Stanley 🐾), and real opportunities to grow.

Through our Sirius Companions service, we help clients combat loneliness and stay connected to their community — getting out, meeting people, and enjoying life beyond their front door. We’re proud to be a local, family-run business based in Anlaby, West Hull and we genuinely care about the quality of service we deliver to each and every one of our clients across Hull and the East Riding towns and villages.

We’re family, when family can’t be there

We know from experience that great carers can make a genuine difference to our clients’ lives. Particularly when family can’t be there, we can provide much needed companionship and social interaction, as well as professional, practical support.

We recruit our carers based on the ‘Mum Test’ - in addition to the standard recruitment processes you’d expect from a home care agency, at Sirius we only recruit people that we’d trust to look after our own family – we feel that’s the very best test we can do.
