🌟New Year, Same Sirius🌟- but with a few new resolutions…

We’ve had a team think (and several biscuits). Here are Sirius Homecare’s official 2026 resolutions:

1. Actually write the date right after January. (Perennial optimism)
2. Not get emotionally invested in a client's garden bird feeder drama. (We're Team Robin, for the record.)
3. Not well up every time a client tells us they now feel “like part of the Sirius family." (We'll fail, and we're okay with that)
4. Keep being the friendly face that turns a house call into a highlight of someone's day.
5. And most importantly - always be kind! 🥰

We know from experience that great carers can make a genuine difference to our clients’ lives. Particularly when family can’t be there, we can provide much needed companionship and social interaction, as well as professional, practical support.

We recruit our carers based on the ‘Mum Test’ - in addition to the standard recruitment processes you’d expect from a home care agency, at Sirius we only recruit people that we’d trust to look after our own family – we feel that’s the very best test we can do.
