They want to understand how schools and health services can work together to better support young carers, but right now they don’t know who all of the young carers are; and not everyone is being supported.

They can only make changes by hearing from you about what really matters, and about your experiences of being a young carer.

They are holding a series of online workshops, led by young carers, to hear your voices.
The last of these are to be held on:

6th January 2026 4pm – 5pm and 6pm – 7pm

The information we hear will be used to make changes to the lives of young carers across England.
Get involved, and book your space on a workshop by emailing the NHS England team at england.nhsthinkcarer@nhs.net

Roots of Support is the dedicated children’s bereavement service at Dove House Hospice .

They are here for young people across Hull and the East Riding who are coping with the loss of a loved one.

Losing someone close can deeply affect a child or teenager — impacting their emotions, behaviour, wellbeing, and even school life. While grief is a natural response, having the right support can make a world of difference.

Through group sessions and one-to-one support, Roots of Support provides a safe space for children and teens to share their feelings, learn healthy ways to cope, and realise they are not alone.

🎄 Mysterious Minds x Humber Wellbeing Hub – Supporting Our Community This Christmas 🎄
Humber Wellbeing Hub
Please all share 🙏
Let’s get this out there

We know that the holiday season can be a difficult and emotional time for many people. That’s why the Humber Wellbeing Hub will be open on Christmas Day from 10am – 12 noon, offering a safe, supportive, and welcoming space for anyone who may be experiencing emotional distress, loneliness, or simply needs someone to talk to.

The team will be there to provide:
• Compassionate listening and support
• A calm, comforting environment for anyone struggling
• Guidance for those facing emotional challenges or suicidal thoughts
• Connection, warmth, and understanding during a time that can feel overwhelming

To help support this wonderful service, Mysterious Minds will be covering the cost of all refreshments on Christmas Day — ensuring that everyone who visits can enjoy a warm drink and a mince pie. We are truly delighted that there is a safe place open for those who may need it most, and we’re honoured to help the Hub continue its vital work.

You don’t have to face Christmas alone. Support is available.
And remember — our page and messages will remain open throughout the entire Christmas period if you need someone to reach out to.

❤️ You are never alone — you’ll never walk alone.
