Missed appointment report for February

Every missed appointment is a slot that could have been offered to another patient. Unfortunately, DNAs place additional pressure on our NHS services.

• Lead to longer waiting times for everyone.
• Increased pressure on GP Surgery staff.

If you no longer need your appointment, or cannot attend, please let us know as soon as possible so we can offer the slot to someone else.

The NHS Healthy Start scheme helps young families on low incomes to buy healthy food and milk.

Those more than 10 weeks pregnant, breastfeeding or those who have children under four and receive certain benefits, could be eligible for NHS Healthy Start. Once on the scheme, a prepaid card can be used to buy fruit, vegetables, pulses, milk and infant formula.

Parents can also access free Healthy Start vitamins. A pilot to distribute women’s vitamins and children’s vitamin drops is taking place from McMillan, Marfleet and Fenchurch Family Hubs in Hull.
