THE MONTH OF JANUARY

This month at Elm Tree Court has been full of activity and enjoyment. Residents have kept busy with baking sessions, meals out, and visits to the community café at the Streetlife Museum.

We’ve also enjoyed spending time at the Flourish Centre, taking part in movement to music sessions, and supporting Mountbatten Primary School with their history topic. It’s been wonderful to see everyone so involved and engaged. 😀

A week ago today, we had the pleasure of welcoming The Purple Pig Company to Elm Tree Court!

Rachel brought along a wonderful selection of farm animals, including two pigs, two goats, chicks, ducklings, rabbits, and a two-week-old calf who has now been named Elmo after Elm Tree Court.

It was such a special afternoon filled with smiles, cuddles, and unforgettable moments.

Four staff members from Elm Tree Court took part in the sponsored walk — they walked an impressive 10 miles in just over 4 hours! 🥾👏

We are having our annual summer fair on Saturday 19th July starting at 10am. This will be a fun filled day and everyone is welcome to come along and join in with the fun.

TOUR DE HICA

Today we joined in with the Tour De HICA HICA Group and have been clocking the miles up on our bikes. A huge thank you to all those who came and supported us and especially to Soccer Sensations Hull for allowing to use their gym today and cheering us on. We enjoyed a cheeky pint on the way out too to celebrate the success of the day. In total we have achieved 54 miles and will be collecting our sponsors in for the Shine fund 😃

SHINE GARDEN OPENING PARTY 🌼

Yesterday we enjoyed the opening of our Shine Garden. This garden is part of the HICA In Bloom Garden competition. We had entertainment from Jason Andrews Male Vocalist and danced the whole afternoon.

MONTH OF MAY

This month we have enjoyed celebrating VE Day, Hand Hygiene day and Africa day. As well as our in house activities such as Read and Chat with Hull Libraries we have enjoyed days out shopping, gardening, baking and celebrated national biscuit day with a quiz and tasting session. HICA Group
