We were honoured to welcome representatives from The Compassionate Friends to Mortlake Crematorium, where we presented them with a cheque for £5,000.

This donation was made possible through the kindness of bereaved families who gave permission for metals, such as hip and knee implants to be recycled through the metals recycling scheme ♻️

The Compassionate Friends Charity provides peer support for bereaved parents, adult siblings and grandparents.

Thank you to every family whose compassion continues to make a difference. 💛

You’re invited to our annual Remembrance Service for Babies and Children.

🕊 Sunday 14th December 2025, 11:30am – Our Chapel

A peaceful space to honour the babies and children who left us too soon. We’ll say their names, light candles, share poems, readings, and music.

🌿 Walk & Run Together 🌿

Join us on Saturday, 6th December 2025 at 10AM for a special Walk/Run event at Mortlake Crematorium — a gentle way to bring together those who are grieving and remembering those who have died.

💚 Walk or run – distance your choice (up to 5K)
☕ Refreshments will be available in the Waiting Room for everyone taking part
👕 Let us know if you’re coming and we’ll save you a T-shirt!

🌟Mortlake Crematorium will be holding a Service of Remembrance on Sunday, 7th December 2025 at 2.00pm in the Chapel.

The service will include Christmas carols, readings, and poems. We will read out the names of those you wish to remember at this special time of year.

After the service, please join us for non-alcoholic mulled wine and mince pies.

Everyone is warmly welcome to attend. 🌟

We recognise this can be a difficult time of year for many, grief support can be found

“On this dark, wet day, what a joy it was to lead guests into the waiting room. The gorgeous décor and the cosy fire flickering away — it all looked so warm and inviting.”

We were touched to receive these kind words from a local funeral director.

Our newly refurbished waiting room has been designed to offer comfort, warmth, and calm for all who visit Mortlake Crematorium. 💚

Thank you to Lou from for creating such a beautiful, welcoming space.

We’re gathering tomorrow at 6pm in our chapel at Mortlake Crematorium for an uplifting evening of singing.

Baby Loss Awareness Week will end with the global ‘Wave of Light’ on Wednesday, 15 October.

Everyone is invited, wherever you are in the world, to light a candle at 7pm local time in memory of all babies' lives gone too soon 💖💙

You can come to our Chapel at Mortlake Crematorium and light a candle. The Chapel will be open between 7pn and 8pm. If you woukd like us to light a candle on your behalf please send a message.

💗💙 Baby Loss Awareness Week 2025 💙💗

Everyone is welcome to tie a pink or blue ribbon to our main gates — a gentle way to remember and raise awareness for all babies who died before or shortly after birth, in any circumstance.

Ribbons are available by the main gate.

Let’s come together to show love, remembrance, and support for all families touched by baby loss.

If you are unable to visit, and would like us to tie a ribbon on your behalf, please contact us.
