We are an award-winning medical gaming platform for children with neurological limitations affecting motor functions.

What is Therapy Reloaded? Therapy Reloaded combines performing a physical activity within the context of playing video games. These games provide a fun and motivational platform for patients with motor impairment, whilst delivering therapeutic benefits under the supervision of healthcare professionals. The gaming solutions utilise balance boards as the player interface to encourage the appropriate physical activity in the context of gameplay. This solution has been initially targeted at young people with Cerebral Palsy; however, research shows that these methods can be applied to other forms of neurological disorders and health conditions.

We are delighted to announce that our co-director and lead software developer Gordon Johnson, a valued member of our team, has successfully passed their PhD viva! This remarkable achievement reflects not only their dedication and expertise but also our commitment to fostering innovation and supporting professional development within our organisation.

Gordon’s research, focused on Autism and the recognition of expressions for autistic individuals, aligns closely with our mission to provide enablement for this group of people who have a wide range of disabilities and neurological conditions.

We are incredibly proud of this milestone and look forward to seeing how their insights and contributions will continue to shape our work and industry.
