Fixed welded doesn’t always mean fixed high cost! 💥

Absolutely love this setup — super lightweight and sleek! The client actually chose this Nitrum Pro over his previous Krypton (which I supplied back in my old business)… and that Krypton is light! 😅

We managed to shave off over 500 grams — might not sound like a lot, but trust me, when you’re rolling day in and day out, it really makes a difference.

Loving the colour scheme on this one 🎨 and those OMOBIC brakes and hand rims finish it off perfectly 👌

We love what we do at Taylor Made Wheelchairs.

Back in April, we were visited by a local charity, GFI (Golfing Fanatics International), at our store in Wall Heath. They were looking for a wheelchair company to support their mission of providing mobility equipment for local children — and of course, we were more than happy to help!

GFI, founded 50 years ago by a group of golfers at Enville Golf Club, has raised funds for 457 children in need of wheelchairs over the years. Last night, they supported young Catherine (14), who received an Empulse Streetjet and Quickie Nitrum Hybrid.

This amazing combination will open up so many new opportunities for Catherine — giving her greater freedom, independence, and confidence.

In a world where there’s often too much hatred and anger, it’s gestures like this that remind us how powerful kindness and community can be. 💙 Let’s keep spreading the love.

Even though the Quickie Krypton is one of the lightest active user wheelchairs available, adding carefully selected options can make it even better tailored to a client’s needs.

For this chair, we fitted:
• Wider-profile Marathon Plus tyres for improved durability and ride comfort
• OMOBIC aluminium wheel locks for secure, reliable braking
• OMOBIC Simi ergonomic hand rims mounted on the client’s existing Spinergy wheels for better grip and ease of propulsion

These upgrades combine to give the client greater comfort, control, and confidence in everyday use.
